  I've been saving my change for the entire school year (ends next week) and I said from the beginning that I was going to cash it in and buy lottery tickets with them. One problem though....

   

  What should I buy?

  A bunch of MM/PB's?

  $1 scratch-offs?

  $2 scratch-offs?

  $5+ scratch offs?

  I haven't cashed them in yet but my guesstimation is that I have around $100.

  I'm in Ohio if that makes any difference.

  Scrach off winnings: $166

  Pick 3/4 Winnings: $0

  MM/PB/OCL/RC5 Winnings: $0 

  Total Spent: $86 Total Winnings: $166 Profit: $80

  Being in Ohio makes a big difference.

  You can play both multi-state games PB and MM locally.
  You can also play locally a Pick5 game RC5 with odds of 1/575K and a minimum jackpot of $100K
  You can also play locally a Pick6 game OCL with odds of 1/14M and a jackpot of $31M+
  You got a many choices locally as you would anywhere else in the country.

  Good luck.

  P.S. Don't bother with Classic Lotto cause I'm planning on winning that one myself.

  First of all, why are you toxic?  Second, are you in grade school, Jr, high school , high school or college?

  If your in grade school, why are you on the internet with a bunch of gamblers?

  And, why didn't you use your lunch money for lunch, your mom and dad worked hard, they expect you to f*****ing eat!

  If you in Jr High School, why aren't you spending your lunch money on candy, pop, and video games like all the normal kids?

  If your in High School, Yep, you guessed it , cigarettes, beer and condoms, once again, like the normal kids

  College.......you should be able to make a decision on your own by now!

  Well I know I'm in college, and I can afford to do a similar thing without breaking the bank.  I just put 1-3 dollars away everytime I want a scratch off, but don't get one for whatever reason, usually like 2 times a week, since I usually end up getting one everyday, but since I started doing this I stopped buying my one every single day.

   

  As for what I'm doing with mine, I'm waiting till the Cash 5 here has a high jackpot and I have a lot saved up for it.  Today I'm just gonna buy 2 tickets for that (since it is at like 600,000), and my one pick 3 today.

  In all honesty, I would save most of it. I would buy 1 x $20 scratcher since the odds are typically better an then save the rest.

  I have a huge glass beer bottle with a plastic cap that sits on our kitchen counter. Every day when my wife and I get home we put our spare change in there and once its full, there is on average about $180-$210 in change. We take it to the local bank coinstar thing and get cash for all the change. Then the process starts over again. We are saving for a vacation with our kids and will look back afterwards and be glad we did.

   

  Considering this is the Lottery Post, I don't see any harm in spending some on lottery since thats what you want to do, but it may be a good idea to save some of it as well =)

  This is what you said you were going to do. "I've been saving my change for the entire school year (ends next week) and I said from the beginning that I was going to cash it in and buy lottery tickets with them".  Therefore, you should do exactly what you said unless you're not old enough to play in that case you should save up untill you are old enough then you should play what ever game brings the biggest payout.
