I LUV craps!! Nothing like getting a HOT roller and then - PICKING up your winnings and RUNNING!

    Amen to that!!!

Though I love to get (or be) a hot roller but instead of running so fast, I like to stay a while in hopes of winning more! :)

My favorite line in the movie .....Vegas Vacation is when Clark Griswald keeps losing at Blackjack and toward the end the dealer finally says.......

"You don't know when to quit, do ya Griswold?...

Here's an idea: Why don't you give me half the money your were gonna bet, then we'll go out back,  I'll kick you in the nuts, and we'll call it a day!"  LOL

The second best line in the movie was when Clark lost most of his money........and ask the blackjack dealer what he could do with just one $ 5 dollar chip.....and the dealer says...

Marty the dealer Gee, I don't know. Buy a bullet and rent a gun?  LOL

The only real failure .....is the failure to try.

Luck is a very rare thing....... Odds not so much.

Odds never change .....but probability does.

                                                                                                 Win d

              WIN D,

There are as many myths about slot machines are there are high heels in Vegas.

I used to work for a company that managed about 20 casinos and know a thing or two about how slot machines are managed.

If you are trying to stretch out your playing time, then you have an easy decision. Play the cheapest slot machine and you will probably lose your money but you will do it slowly.

BUT, if you are trying to maximize the probability of winning, then play the most expensive slot machine you can afford. When I say afford, that includes affording to play the max bet. The max bet almost always has a higher payout. For example, playing $5 on a $5 machine may pay out a $10,000 jackpot but tripling the bet to $15 will pay out a jackpot of $50,000.

The reason for playing the more expensive machines is they have the highest payouts. Casino companies usually configure the slot machines to pay a certain amount back to the house. For a 5 cent machine, the payout is only around 85% to get the required payback. But with a $5 machine, the payout can be as high 95% and still make enough money for the house.

One big qualification for playing the expensive slot machine: if you lose your money, you will lose it quickly. So back to the first point. If you want to gamble a long time, then play the cheap machines. If you want to maximize your probability of winning, play the expensive machines. A lot of people use this strategy, especially if they go to Vegas primarily for other reasons such as shows, golf, bars, hookers, etc.

As I mentioned at the beginning, there are many myths about slot machines. Let me dispel one of the more common. Slot machines do not have a memory. They have no means of remembering how many payouts they have done. They all contain an EPROM chip programmed to payout a certain percentage. The main reason slot machines are not programmed to contain any memory of past payouts and pay based on that information is to prevent employees for exploiting the information. The vast majority of surveillance and security procedures are focusing on employees and not the players.

              Good luck and have fun.

I could find it if I was really that concerned or interested.

But you don't arouse any concern or interest in me whatsoever.

But I have forgiven you, little man, and I'll never mention it to a soul, so kindly stop stalking me.

Just try being truthful on occasion.

You continue to spread hate and lies and yet, you claim to be religious and a believer in God.

I believe you do not have the backbone to answer the next question, but I will ask it anyways.

What religion do you belong to?

I want to know if you belong to a religion that condones the spreading of lies and hate or if you are simply exhibiting hypocritical behavior.
