I was watching some movies yesterday and of those were Ralph Macchio's "Crossroads" (not that terrible Britney Spears one). If you know the movie then you know how that movie got me thinking about this question. Now this question isn't as crazy as the deal in the movie (which includes your typical story of someone selling their soul for fame/wealth/certain wishes) but it's the same basis.

Would you give up something in your life that would seem almost impossible to live without if it meant you would win the lottery, and what is that 'something'?

Personally some things that would be almost impossible for me to live without are TV and/or the internet, since they are both huge sources of entertainment to me and I use them every day. If I were to give up one of them, though, and be guaranteed a jackpot win, I think I would give one of them up. The thought of guaranteed financial security for myself as well as my possible future children would definitely trump all the joy I get from the internet. It would definitely be really tough but I think I would manage. At least TV could still give me news and entertainment, though things may get tough in the future when more things revolve around the internet... I think enough things can still happen face-to-face or over the phone though. At first it would be a pain but eventually I think it would stop being a problem and I would actually be more productive and start enjoying more things in life that I hadn't before.

(and let's pretend there's some magical force that will prevent you from ever doing/using the thing you said you would give up and there's no cheating the system, like in my case, hiring someone to simply use the internet for you)

at this point in the game,I'd give up smoking just to hit a str8 in P3 lol

The money I pay for lottery tickets is important to me and is necessary for the necessities of life. It even more important to me after the drawing when I learn I've won nothing.

* you don't need to buy every combination, just the winning ones *

Internet. I would throw my computer out the window if i win a decent amount. hell ive done it before when ive lost on online poker lol but this time id give up the internet. its my second bad addiction that im looking to end. first is gambling lol

2018 Biggest Win: $500 (multiple times but who cares about $500 right?)

Before you play there are 2 choices to make. Low sum or high sum and consecutive pair or no consecutive pair. Choose correctly and you go from 120 combos down to 30. Not a bad starting point.

Yea it's a big addiction for myself (internet, that is). This is my first time I've gotten on the computer since earlier today when I posted this and I was able to get our living room and free room completely cleaned and rearranged.

@Jon D, lol, that's definitely something I wouldn't mind giving up. As long as I could still do slot machines as a form of gamling I'd be good. I don't really have the need to play them, but I did find them fun last time I was in LV.
