Indie,

1,2,3,4,5,6 may not be the best combination for your game! Wink

I've been playing the lottery for seven years now and I haven't won anything really

my largest  being $40 off some random scratch  game

However I have spent far much more money than I won

is a game of chance that is always rigged in the houses favor

the fact is 50% of the profits usually go to lotteries with players getting about 50% prices

and the fact they have to market millions of dollars just to get majority of us to play means there going to have to be millions of losers

    for every one major winner

that's the name of the game and I understand that and I don't have a problem being a part of millions of losers long as someone is winning

The fact is you're playing for the dream the fantasy

    you know the fantasy

That's why I only purchas one dollar worth of tickets when the jackpot is low

all you need is one dollar per play

the best thing we can do is limit how much play , which should sure give ourselves the fantasy of spending such ridiculously large amount of money

the fact is your cost at 20 years of playing has made someone else's dream come true and you have helped out whatever the causes your lotteries supports

I don't see how you could be upset you been losing 20 years

being rational you you have to understand there's only going to be one of us have the fortunate luck to win millions of dollars while others lose all of it

I understand this so when I play I don't expect to win anything

But I always dream because yet could come true

    that's what you're buying a dream,always remember that.

    No bees, no honey.

Thank you; I have been playing the same numbers for 20 years. Maybe I will throw in something different, just to try it out.

Makes you think that if it was the type of lottery where they stone you to death, that you would probably have back to back wins!!!

Thank you sully16. I can't quit; the day I quit my numbers will come out.

And is this exactly why I only play Quick Picks. I'm afraid of "choosing" some numbers, play them for years, miss one night - and that's when they come up.

Indigo, I agree with the others. Shake things up. I'm not saying don't play your normal numbers, but maybe add something new into the mix. Yeah, you will be spending an extra dollar or two a week, but it will re-energize you - and who knows - that may be all the karma you need for your regular numbers to come up!!!

I been playing lotto for 20 years and never hit. I won a free play every now and then. I play my lotto ticket annually. What a joke.

Well, I certainly feel your pain and wonder if you have won smaller jackpots not too small to mention after 20 years of playing faithfully.  I've won smaller jackpots and played just about the same timeframe. However, I am on a current losing streak lately and feel I need to figure out a better way in playing the lottery to win the bigger jackpots. I know there are several  lottery players winning the million dollar jackpots several times over, so it can be done if we just change out attitude on how we are playing.  Eventually, you and I will win and it is just a matter of time.  Hang in there and know our time will come soon--persistence pays off whether it is 20 years or not. One who loses today, wins big tomorrow!Wink!
