The last 10 days of any month are a very good time to play, and we're in that window of time right now.
I based what I wrote in my post above on what I've seen looking back in time at my spreadsheets. Usually, one number will hit more than any other number in any given month. One number group will have more hits than the other three in any given month. Typically, the number group that has the most hits for the month will also have the hottest number for the month within it. For example, in November of 2013, the thirty's lead the way with 49 hits for the month. The 37 was the biggest hitter in November of 2013 with 10 hits for the month.
It's not always the case that the number with the most hits for the month is within the hottest number group, but that happens more often than not.
During November of this year, the units number group is in the lead with 31 hits, and the 4, 6 and 9 have 5 hits this month. The 27 and the 29 might become the hottest number this month and have the most hits, but I tend to doubt that. I don't think there's enough days remaining in the month for the tens, twenty's or the thirty's to overtake the units.
In any case, typically there are one or two numbers in most months that lead the way with 8 or 9 hits. The six numbers I listed in my post above have the best shot at getting to 8 or 9 hits this month, given the amount days (draws) left in the month. Will some other number get super hot and come from behind and have the most hits in November? Maybe. That's possible, but I wouldn't bet on it. G5
Are number group really that important to use when picking numbers? I mean, that's a group of ten numbers, so it's not very specific in terms of identifying which numbers from the group to pick and play.
To answer that question, here's a question for you think about; How many times in the last three years have five numbers from the same number group been drawn?
The answer is: Once. One time and that's it! That's 1,095 drawings and it happened ONCE.
BTW It happened on July18th of last year. The numbers that day were 1 5 7 8 9.
Number groups help narrow down the sample set of numbers to pick from. As of last night, the units have 31 hits in November. The other three groups are six and seven hits behind. That's a lot of ground for them to make up and then pass the units. If we saw more draws where five numbers from the same group were drawn, then I'd say the other three groups definitely could pass the units. But only once in 1,095 draws have we seen 5 numbers from the same group be drawn, so don't count on that happening.
My point is simply this; play the units from now until the end of the month. They probably have 13 or 14 more hits in the nine draws left in November. That means they'll have a total of 44 or 45 hits for the month. That's about one third of the 150 balls that will pop out of the machine this month. Using past history as a guide, any number group that has one third of the balls that pop out of the drum, usually has the most hits for that month. Right now the units are in the lead, so go with the hot hand. G5
PS If any drawing does have five numbers from the same number group drawn, then know that we would be seeing a very rare thing. That's why the folks that play 1 2 3 4 5 are crazy. Five numbers from the same group is rare enough, but five CONSECUTIVE numbers from the same group??? Not to mention, in the entire history of Take5, 1 2 3 4 5 has never been drawn.
