Here's a newsflash from The Old G5'er.
I've decided to re-commit my T5 dollars to C4L. I wont be buying T5 until this situation with C4L's never drawn 42 is over.
You don't believe it, do you?? But it's absolutely TRUE!
Well, here's why I'm doing it; There's a 1 in 18,542 chance I could win the second place prize of $1,000 a week for life by playing the 42 on every one of my C4L lines. Yes, I know C4L costs two bucks per line, but let's say I buy two lines of T5 vs one line of C4L (with the 42 played).
Playing T5, I'd have a 1 in 287,878.5 chance of winning a pre-tax prize of maybe $35,000 vs that grand a week for life prize carrying odds of 18,542 to 1.
It's a no-brainer, dontcha think?
So because I typically spend about 20 buck per week on T5, I'm now going to spend that same 20 bucks on C4L. And... because they extended through May the C4L promo of buy five lines on one ticket, get one free line, I'm getting two free lines of C4L per week. I've already got my C4L ticket for both drawings next week.
BTW, I play the 42 on every line, and use Lotto Stat's "Best Sets" to pick the other four numbers that I play on each of my lines. G5
OK... I learned a few things about C4L last nite.
First, the drawing is held earlier than Take5's. I checked The NYS Lottery website at 10 PM and it had already been updated with the latest winning numbers.
Second, because I won 2 bucks again, I realized something. When the 42 eventually comes out, I'm guaranteed to win at least 2 bucks. The reason for that is I play all four Cash Balls, and I play the 42 on all five lines. Therefore, I'll at least have the Cash Ball and the 42 on one line.
I also have one of the Cash Ball's duplicated on the fifth line of my ticket. That means I could win at least 2 bucks again, if I have the winning Cash Ball on the fifth line of the ticket.
So when's the 42 gonna pop? That's what I wanna know! G5

I don't mean to keep harping on the playing strategy that I'm using with C4L, but with this situation of the 42 having not been drawn yet (since the game began) opportunity is definitely knocking. And you sure as hell don't get many good opportunities when you play the lottery!
I wrote above "I'm guaranteed to win at least 2 bucks" How many times have you known before the drawing that you were guaranteed to win money playing the lottery? Yes, it's a lousy 2 bucks, but there's also not a bad chance that it will be more than 2 lousy bucks.
Do you know what I really think will happen when the 42 eventually does come out? I think I'll win 2 bucks. Nothing more, just 2 bucks. Maybe I'll be lucky and win 10 bucks because I'll have the 42 and one other number and the Cash Ball.
But what I'm really talking about here is odds reduction. Excluding the Cash Ball, by playing the strategy that I've been playing, (with 59 numbers because I play the 42 on every line) there is a 1 in 350 chance that I'll match 3numbers in one game.
I dunno if I've done that good a job of communicating how good the playing strategy really is or not. Hopefully I did. But there is an opportunity here...just sayin'..... G5
