I MADE THIS POLL AND actually meant to say..

"WOULD YOU QUIT YOUR JOB if you won the JACKPOT?"

Just curious of the answers from others.

I'm retired now, but if still working I'd say quit, make room for somone who really needs it.

Unless you've already got a business going that you really enjoy, or are in a dream job you really enjoy, let someone else have it.

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

I have no job lol. I'm a student but I'd probably take a long break from school and do some stuff I've always wanted to do.

Why quit. I'll buy my company, perhaps hire my boss.

I discarded my vote because it depends on the amount of the prize after taxes. In order for me to quit my job it would have to be at least 2 million after taxes. I like that ING commercial where two guys are talking about what is your "number". In other words what is your number that you need to retire. One of the guys holds a big number with a little over 1 million dollars and the other guy says "I dont know I just throw money blindly at it and hope it sticks!" while holding a gazillion dollar number. That commercial cracks me up everytime I watch it.

I would OPEN my job up for someone else (quit).  Then TRY to start an American company that takes jobs way from foreign made products/goods.  Jobs are the key to our prosperity.

Start small and local, help your community first.  Invest in America and American jobs.

I voted that I would think about it, because I have three kids that I would put through college and pretty much the only way to afford that is to win the lottery.

Then there are my parents and my father-in-law, plus a few other family members that I would really want to help out as much as I could, so if the lump sum after taxes is say $20 million, I would quit.  If the lump sum after taxes is $5 million, I would not quit.  But I am about 5 years from retirement anyway, so it's not that big of a deal.
