I would have voted none if it was available. If someone pays their dollar, they have a right to a shot at the jackpot.

Chris Singleton of the Washington Wizards supposedly bought $10,000 worth of tics. He already makes $1.5 mill a year. But..... $10,000 in tics? If he wins, he deserves it. He sure paid for it!

Agree 100%...I refuse to be angry or jealous of other peoples success/luck in life. The worst is people that say "they don't deserve it"...

I have seen some awesome ways people and companies trying to share the wealth. Companies like radio station 88.7  and MyTennisLessons doing facebook contests where you share and like the page for a shot to win a portion of their potential winnings lol. What does everyone think of this?

I wasn't talking about deserving just would it change your view if the winner came from one of the backgrounds.  Jackpots go the the lucky person who gets the right numbers not always the "deserving" in the end it's just a game of chance.

      well, it's just my opinion.

For me it would be a toss up betweeen someone who was already a millionaire, and someone who had never played the lotto before.  I don't know, I would just feel much better if it was someone who had "paid their dues" so to speak and had been playing for years, rather than someone who just threw in a dollar because of all the craziness of the big jackpot.  And a millionaire winning is pretty self-explanatory.  That's just unfair.

Like most people, I would rather see it be won by Leona Helmsley's cat than by some weasel-like, creepy, slimy democrat politician.

It really bugs me when people that already have a TON of money win, like that hotel heir recently.

I honestly just can't be bothered to be angry at someone for winning. Because if I won I would hate for people to be angry with me. I only bought 5 tickets so if I were to win, someone with a hundred tickets might be like..." how could THAT woman win, she only bought a few". If you buy the ticket and you win, that's that. Fair and square. If I get nothing in this next drawing, I'm just gioing to keep going and be happy for the person(s) that wins. I am one of the people that believes in the law of attraction so to me it makes perfect sense why people with money would win. No matter, if it's someone "normal" that wins, it's going to change their life. Or people if more than one winner. If a millionaire or celebrity wins, I'd be a little annoyed but I'd move on.

If I'm not the winner then I don't care who wins.  They brought a ticket and got lucky like I hope to do.

I know a weird question to ask but how would your spend your money has been asked a thousand times. Except a celeb I think I have seen stories about most of these types of people winning(and me of course which I hope to fix with tonights MM jackpot!)  LOL

I am somewhat confused about this discussion because anyone who buys a lottery ticket, is entitled to win period.  Rich, poor, black, white, old etc.  I would be frustrated if an rich person won it, but I wouldn't be angry about it.

Agreed.  I didn't know we were voting on who "deserved" it more or whatever.  I really don't know how you could even vote on who's more deserving based on the descriptions in the poll.   I think I would be annoyed more than angry.  The only time I'd be angry is if it was someone who won at the same store I buy my tickets at.  That would realy boil my blood.   But it wouldn't have anything to do with the actual person who won just the fact that I promised myself if that ever happened I would stop playing for good.

Probably the only kind of winner that would anger me would be one making all the wrong choices.  No doubt if this is won even by a pool, the winners are going to become media celebrities.  If said winners become something almost tabloidish in nature, that would upset me.

don't like it, tough, get over it and move on to the next jackpot.

                            I Agree!
