Jackpot up to $593,000 tonight.  I'll be surprised if it doesn't go.

Still trying to figure out my numbers for tonight.  Rolling Cash 5 is my favorite Ohio game - best odds for a decent payout under normal circumstances, but especially when the jackpot is high like this!

The Giant Eagle closest to me has sold 2 jackpot winning Rolling Cash 5 tickets since February.  A $308K winner in February, and a shared jackpot winner that ended up being worth $68K on April 13th.  Might buy a ticket or two from there just in case there's something lucky about that location.  ;)

    Good luck to everyone!

The run is over and I didn't so good, the best I did was a few match2's.

I like to know if there is any good books that will help me pick the numbers?

The only book i know is Lottery Master Guide by Gail Howard...its good...the Matrix Walk i posted for new york is the most important chart for any game...she teaches you how to read it in the LMG, although she doesnt elaborate enough about the flag formation...i think she kinda confuses people there...

she does mention to play all numbers with skips in last five...but she doesn't really mention, the balance of the "golden mean" in the skips...Sad Cheers

Fibbies, skip mix and other such terms are impressive but are like a foreign language to me, the only terms I understand are "I lost" and "I won".

seems strange that a lottery player who has been gambling for over ten years does not know what fibs, or skip mix are...

skips...meaning how many draws were the winning numbers out before they scored...sheesh...Hit With Stick

Todd at one time planned to create a glossary of lottery terms but found unlike "casino gamblers" many lottery players made up terms that weren't generally known by other players and were confusing so the glossary was never completed.  Players sometimes use terms found in Gail Howard's books but those terms don't mean much to players who haven't read her books, like me.

the glossary is a great idea...that way people dont have to ask me what is a FF? (flag formation)...its a stock market term applied to lottery....

are you boycotting the book or something??

I agree and remember this.  There are many common terms, but a huge number of terms are made up by people, and they repeat them lots of times, hoping they will stick.  Such people would expect the glossary to include their terms, even though they just made them up, or maybe heard them from someone who made them up.

A lottery glossary would have to be like a real dictionary, in which a word can have multiple meanings.

No, I just never felt a need to read it.   Back in the 80's, a co-worker gave me his copy of a disk with some Gail Howard software that had been written in GWBasic and saved using the protect feature that didn't allowed it to be listed.  BYTE magazine had an article about how to get around that so I listed the program and found it was just a simple written program using the RNG that came with language.  After that I figured her software and books couldn't teach me anything that I didn't already know.

Aren't you glad I turned down your generous offer to team up with me to try and win the MegaMillions lottery, an unknowledgeable player like me would have just held you back.

i didnt want to team up with your for mega millions...it was for the 5/39 game...compare patterns ideas...etc...i am not glad, i am surprised at how closed minded you are...

well that doesn't sound like the software i use...to simplistic...must have been version a.1 or something...maybe your friend lied to you...

to be the best you have to keep your mind open...and absorb all possible knowlege...just because you are prejudiced to the gwbyte software doesn't mean you got to be prejudiced to all other types of thinking and ideas...it like you are a Catholic priest...and they ask you have you read the bible?  No i am just a pseudo-unknowlegable priest...i will just play her with my abacus....and shun people who have read the bible...

its not that you are unknowledgable...its just that you dont know how to communicate ideas...properly...fibs...fibonacci...golden mean...

                              math...numbers arithemetic...blah blah...

if you think i made the term fibs right out of my ass then you are mistaken...fibonacci was the person you introduced arabic numerals to the west...so you wouldn't be able to read your lottery balls if it wasn't for him...

I still think the glossary would be a very good idea...put some light on all the "unknowledgable" players on LP....

if it wasn't for fibonacci, you would have a big X on your balls....Hit With Stick

i dont know where i got the idea that your were intelligent...i must have been deluded...HippyPuke
