Cool beans! I will be 37 in December and started playing in the same year. I was only playing the state lottery at that time. In 2000 I started my road trips to GA to play Powerball. Late fall marks 16 years. It's been a long career - lol.

Anyone who takes road trips to play powerball must have rocks in their head. No offense rad, but your kidding right?? Do you comprehend that you could play 1000 lines per draw and still be at 4000 to 1 odds?

Most people cant pick a winner in a horse race where 1/3 of the 12 horses are better than all the others. lol. We are talking 4 to 1 odds here and you are driving the county side chasing after 4000 to 1 odds?

Im embarrassed to say I went down to QT and offered up a $10. sacrifice.

My question is.... if they paid out $5.6 million last night (minus the $700k they will steal) how much did they did they take in???

        20 milllion

        30 million

        40 million

        more.........

If they pay $5 mil out of $50 mil they are keeping 90% ??????

Don't know but I wish there was a way MM and PB to require ALL winners to join LP and tell us how it happened. You know, give us all the gory blow by blow details. lol.

QP in Austin. Wish it was me except I don't live in Austin, and I don't play powerplay when I buy PB tics. Just will have to be happy with $1 million if I hit.

Not me either. I haven't been to Austin since '09. I barely got out of my neighborhood yesterday to get my tickets with those darn Ironman cyclists speeding down the roads. They nearly kilt me.

I play every draw for jackpots. MM, PB, or Texas Lotto. No pick 3 or 4's, but I will play the Two-step (pick 5) when it hits $500k. No powerplays, all cash value. Mostly QP. Sometimes I let LP pick my QP's, LOL.

Whether it's a $12 million draw or a $500 million draw I'm at least putting in money for one line. I'll have millions either way.

I go after any jackpot amount because just like death, one never knows when lady luck will strike.

Get MONEY!!! Winning a JACKPOT lottery is all the HOPE and CHANGE I desire!!!  NOW give me MONEY!US Flag

The guy who won the presidency in 2008 really won the lottery...he is now millions richer, travels in first class style, and even has a staff that would be the envy of the richest Powerball winner (she has a staff of 2). Every night he goes to sleep, he probably plays the close of Dave Chappelle's Show: I'm rich beyatch!

I bet if your next door neighbor made that "shameful" trek down to QT and lucked into winning multimillionaire, you would be the first one knocking on his door to congratulate him and to ask for a "loan"! It is a given that a few people will overcome the odds and win each year. Better some odds rather than NO chance!

Calm down Calm down people. I will be making a brief statement and I won't be taking any questions thereafter.

I only won $8. As you all can clearly see, the jackpot has rolled over again. RIDGE from dere yonder mountains didn't send the winning combination as promised! And to think I went to college and university in that state! Guess I didn't learn ENOUGH
