Wow! A good head on his shoulders, but he's out in a club with that kind of cash?Green laughSkepticalNo Nod You know, a guy could walk down the street in nice clothes with an EMPTY BRIEF CASE and get his hat brought to him just out of curiosity of what MIGHT be in it!!!

No, I'm sorry and beg to strongly differ with LCML. He's a straight up dumba**!!! A man can hint to women that he has money without a briefcase stamped with BRINKS and chained to his wrist.

Oh, well...it's his money (a**) in the end.

well maybe they meant a good head on his shoulders IN COMPARISON to how he use to be?

    Thank you maximumfum,

point i was trying to make was even a person used to dealing w/ big money can lose perspective,

w/ that big a pile of cash,

not defending him just saying look closely at what happened to him.

A good argument for taking the annuity instead.  Makes it a lot harder to put it all in one pile.

Really? I was making a joke about a dumb moron who totes a BRINKS bag into a strip club.

The annuity is for losers who are too stupid to realize they are being ripped-off.

Or too lazy to manage their own money.

Jack was both and would have called "cash now" even if he had taken the annuity.

Yeah, see I was tryin' to leave this alone 'cause I had already put the pieces together. This guy, in order to have that type of money in the club, had to GO TO THE BANK AND WITHDRAW IT. WHO goes to their bank and withdraws hundreds of thousands of dollars just to go to the strip club???? Maybe he did ONCE have a good head but, the money definitely changed him. Proof is in the pudding.

You know, I've been thinking this whole thing over a bit. Both of the guys in question ended up at strip clubs with unwarranted amounts of cash in their possessions. Maybe, just maybe there was a stripper there with some very, extremely expensiveEekWink "CHA-CHA"Wink Big Grinand they both had always dreamed of being able to just walk in and "know they could get it if they wanted it". Yeah, that's it!!!!Yes Nod They simply wanted to show who was BOSS and how they could afford only the BEST!!!

Okay, I feel so much better now knowing it was really something worthwile behind carrying all that dough to the joint!!!

"Why must I feel like that...aaaahhhhh, why must I chase the CAT!!!?????Green laugh

After reading the story again it sounds like jack was just being overly generous and overly indulgent with himself and all the people around him. Too bad that drugs alcohol and gambling are such harsh taskmasters when not taken in extreme moderation.

To save my life, I'm really tryin' hard to understand why any reasonable person would even want to carelessly flaunt that kind of wealth ANYWHERE. I mean, I see where guys rob banks in broad daylight WHILE ON CAMERA and these nutcases walks into a strip joint basically announcing what kind of money they're workin' with. What?

It would be very easy for anyone to just sit back and wait for this dumba** to leave, follow him, and bump him off at the right time. I'm very serious...these guys were tryin' to give their lives away.

Something all that money can't even think of replacing. No Nod Wow.
