I ask because I used a 10 line QP ticket and re-played the lines on regular play slips.

I played the 10 draw card for $100. and after 10 draws won a $7. return.

Should I keep spending $100. every 5 weeks on the same ticket?

Or just throw it in the trash and stop wasting my time?

Do not worry Ronnie. The lottery will choose one of your combinations to win a $10k, $250k, $1M or the jackpot someday. You have to play to win, you can't choose better combinations to win than the lottery.

10 lines, random qp? I suppose that you are not good at picking numbers, so you turned to qp's?

I see most lottery jackpots have been won with self pick numbers not Quick Picks numbers.

Where was I that I missed the trend?

Yes, I took a loss. But I only lost 90% of my money.

I have done it a few times and I very rarely get quick picks.  A couple of months ago I really liked some QP numbers and played them 2 times.  They seemed more random that I would have thought of...but won $0.

(General reply here.) Okay, no matter what numbers anyone is playing here, MAKES ABSOLUTELY NO DIFFERENCE, as long as those numbers fall between 1-59 and 1-35...THE COMBINATION IS STILL IN THE MATRIX. Self pick or QP...it's in there. So, when a person wins, it's really just the luck of that particular combination being drawn. No frills, no tricks, no systems, no rigging, NO NOTHING.

If my memory serves, last year one of these games was actually won with a sequential combination! It was something similar to 11-12-13-14 etc. This proved to me that any combo can win...and only (1) person won that huge jackpot also. I can see the fun in trying to narrow down the possibilities, but with the pre-tests factored in, it still makes anything very possible...even what the sharpest players tend to remove and discount as low possibilities.

The one mistake anyone can make is to "assume" that just because they've switched "styles" i.e. self pick to quick pick, it will increase their odds in some way. The worst mistake is to assume that the jackpot is "overdue" if no one has won in (15) draws. Guess what? If the maximum amount of possible combinations are never sold, then the jackpot is DEFINITELY NOT GUARANTEED TO BE WON. Too many combinations left and, again, (1) number makes all the difference.

We just saw how (5) people won $1 million while the jackpot remained untouched. Luck happens in many forms with this type of game. Who would've thought (5) new millionaires were in the making with the amount of tickets sold on that draw? I didn't. It's all purely in the luck of the draw and who may have those lucky numbers.

I don't usually play QP either and bought these with the idea of playing them over and over.

I changed my mind and was going to throw them away until I hit the big $7. clover.

Now I cant decide over spending $100, every 5 weeks or tossing it over.

Im in a real jam, and the JP could be my million dollar rover.

My gut feeling is telling me I should go, go, go.

But my $$$$ is saying to throw.

                        I just dont know.

Here in Oregon you can only have 5 lines of plays on one ticket so I play one line of my own numbers and then four lines of QP's every drawing for both mega and  powerball.  I like to play the same numbers for mega and powerball of my one line and then QP the rest.  Good luck to you!-weshar75

I heard about a lady who bought one QP, liked the numbers, and got another ticket with the same numbers, for the same drawing. I don't think it was a MM or PB ticket, but either Pick 6 or Pick 5 game. She matched all the numbers. Since she had both winning tickets, she won all the prize money.
