This poll has been up for about two days now. 30 votes were taken. 25 out of 30 people voted no, we shouldn't tax lottery winnings for one reason or another. I hope this was educational. Thanks to the individuals who participated in the poll!

Thank you whiteballz, just goes to show you that when it comes to paying taxes

WE NO LONGER HAVE A CHOICE.

Johnny Cash sang that song and he died old. He looked like a Man without a soul when he sang. Some music evoke evil spirits and demons to those who sing it and listen to it.

Oh please Thrifty, tell us what you know about evil spirits and demons, and how it was that you were able to judge the soul of Johnny Cash?

Wonder how he managed to get a real picture of THIFTY.  What?

That's him alright, although he's put on another 25-30 pounds since that photo was taken.  (I'm sure it's all muscle however).   Naughty

If he put on that much weight he must of only been like 50 pounds I was thinking thrifty was going to be in a suit lol

Actually, what I said was that he had put on all that weight since the picture was taken, not before. And THIFTY doesn't do suits, he's strictly

                casual, flip flops in all.

You'd have to know THRIFTY.  His dress attire is not for the faint of heart.

THIS is the action adventure photo AFTER gaining 50 pounds. Notice the snug flip flops?

I think that we should create a charity.

                            www.paylotterywinnerstaxes.org

That would be for helping the poor suffering lottery millionaires money that they lost in taxes.

                            Anybody want to donate?

the ire should be directed at the government and career politicians and not individuals who put down a $1 or $2 wager and managed to beat astronomical odds. Besides, it doesn't matter how much in taxes the government collects, they'll find a way to waste it. Google, "solyndra loan" for a recent example of government waste.
