A  majority of the members know what a root is on this forum.

I saw something recently about a pick3 basics thread.  This could help the new members.  However, I have had several pm's saying how easy the sytems are to understand.  When I first started on this forum I took the time to try and understand all the terms:vtrac, roots sum last digit , etc. and  I'm still learning. The search function works very well and I have used it and spent hours trying to learn and research.

I wont dazzle you with slick graphics and long-winded bs.,tons of 200 numbers charts ,percentages etc.

I just contribute real systems!

WrightEJW, you're a little off on roots... 1st of all the chart that someone posted was rootsums & not roots....

Here's a root: the draw comes out 381 therefore you add each digit individually... 3+8+1=12 and that's your root for a rootsum you do it again like this... for 381 - 3+8+1=12 then 1+2=3... So 12 is your root and 3 is your rootsum. Hope this helps, Pogo

I backtested with the Carlig sheet and I tried different things with the program.  I took the last three FL p3 draws and used the numbers vertically  as follows>> the first row vertically and the third row(263) as my inputs:

I like yours much better than mine ..

I tend to do simple , where you take it to the next level which makes tracking much easier..

I learn a lot from your sheets

Thanks

I was giving you kudos for what I thought my sheets always lack. It's funny because I like your sheets better than my own... Always fun to see the different roads taken to the same goal. Thanks Carli, Pogo

In this one I take the root (2,6) of the last two draws and multiply them.

 roots 2 input 6 mult 12 159 171 total 828

I add the result (12) WITH 159.  I'm using 159 because I like the difference of 4 gap between the numbers.

I then finish with (999-171) FOR THE TOTAL.

This gives you the 2 picks to build on for your next few draws.

If you want more just add+1 or -1 to the last digit>>>170 172 173 174 175 and 826 827 829 820 etc.

How do you apply this to pick 4,
