Was just watching the Today Show, said you guys in Indiana would be getting wind gusts of 65 MPH!!  Blush

We did all night long!  It has died down considerably now we had wind, rain, and a little bit of early snow!  I did buy my MM and PB tickets yesterday just in case we lost power.

This country was founded on the idea of free trade and competition, so why not with the state lottery systems?   Patriot

As it stands now, all members of the lottery commissions have only their best interest in mind.

For better or worse, at least it would keep all contenders on their toes, while wooing for their customers (you and me).

The states would argue because they are the government, they are entitled to this huge windfall business.

Then lets elect new forward thinking leaders and change those laws. Nothing is in stone. As paying players don't we have any say?   Smash

Benefits could include lower ticket prices, higher payouts, no more RNG's, delayed drawings and countless pre-tests and post tests.

                          What say you.  What?

Since states usually keep 50% of their lottery sales for public projects, should the private sectors give up 50% of their sales for public projects too  to keep a level playing field?

                           * you don't need to buy more tickets, just buy a winning ticket *

                            Absolutely!

Although their profit margins would be smaller, we still deserve to have other venues for making the lottery games more profitable,

fair and enjoyable for the playing public.

A monopoly is never a good situation for consumers to be in.

Paradoxically, isn't that what big government tries to discourage from all businesses both private and public, to protect the consumers. What?
