I think those ceremonial checks are made on posterboard,

you prolly already have the talent and materials to make one in your studio.

so make one and hang it in your gallery. Smile

OMG I actually do have some leftover posterboard downstairs in the studio. I could print it on sticky paper and glue it to the posterboard. And maybe coat it with resin. Maybe I will make a tiny one to carry around with me in my wallet...credit card sized.

          Well yea, whatever works,

I suggested hanging one in the gallery, cause your customers may say "wow, can you make one w/ my name on it ?

Good question, i never kept mine, hey mcginnin56 did you keep yours? Big Grin

Others in my state have posed for the "smaller" checks. I was in the lottery office only about a half hour, and no one approached me on such

an offer. Truthfully I had no desire to do so. I just wanted my to get my "real" check, then b-line out of there, which is exactly what I did.

When my mother won $5000 in march of this year we got ceremonial pictures from the lottery rep.  I still have the picture in my drawer here at the apartment.  She won the money on a video lottery terminal in a bar we use to go too.  It was fun to spend the money with her.  I am waiting to get my ceremonial check from powerball on monday morning at the lottery headquarters in salem, oregon.  Good luck to me!-weshar75
