No, @15 mph you're in low gear.

That must have pissed off the winner.

One draw late for the big money.

I was also waiting for PB to rollover. I see a game matrix change coming soon.Powerball jackpots are moving to $100M slower than a turtle.

Problem is the first few draws now are in the mid 20 million range in sales. Even when the jackpot hits $100 million now, the sales are only in the $35+ million range, not enough to cover if someone won on the 1st drawing starting at $100M and a (small) but still possible chance of the lottery losing a lot of money if there is a streak where there are a lot of wins early (for example, say if someone won $100M, then the next series another wins it at $110M, and then another at $100M).

There's really no need for a matrix change right now unless you want lower odds and more modest big prizes (meaning fewer $250M and above prizes) as a result of that. Even the $575.5M jackport recently had close to a 20% chance of a rollover. All the drawings leading up to that prize, there was still a 60%+ chance of rollover

Thanks for your responses guys and gals...

BilliionaireToBe--I didn't mean that I didn't play numbers last night because I thought 40-50 million was not enough! Heck yeah, I'd love to have any portion of that, but I have limited funds that I use to play lottery and meant I didn't play because I'd rather use the money on nights when I think there might be a better chance on having a winner!

PS. The turtle photo was cute!!

In reference to the Matrix change response...I hope you meant a change for the better!!! <smile>

                          Cincin,

Take a look at Original Bey's thread 2012 YTD Jackpot Performance.

$50M is the most common PB jackpot.

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

                          Lep

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

                              I wish...

Cause I would have won it several times if it was that "easy" lol
