the robot terms are taking over!

thro i much perfer the newer ones that let u play pb/mm / touch screen etc.

then simple pay and drop of a instant cards like candy ones.

rip the store clerks , joking aside, i would enjoy seeing that kind of setup in more border town stores.

i know one of these robot terms sold a winning pb ticket at a airport up in east coast.

     i want more of them!

    No bees, no honey.

I'm wondering if any of them work.  Confused

I visited 3 this morning, and none would take the play slip.  The 4th one was completely out of service.  Ended up having to go to a clerk.  This happens way too much here with the machines we have.  I finally learned that smart players try to insert the play slip BEFORE you put your money in, or you end up buying something you don't want.  Also, have an extra play slip filled out because some machines will eat them.

the machines could be programmed to act like rude clerks.

WOW!!! I would be broke lol....

Me too lol. Machines do not give you "the look" when you buy a $10 scratch ticket or ask for another quickpick after receiving your change.  I wish we had these machines near where I live.

                        That money's gone fo ever

Prior to Primm the only lottery action available to people in Las Vegas and Southern Nevada was in a little town called Nipton, a few miles off of I-15. Nipton got quite a bit of play before Primm opened.

Until Primm, the law in California to sell lotto was you had to be an established business at the same location for 5 years.

Primm built the hotel - casino on the border, put the gas station / conveniece store on the California side of the border and was selling lotto right away. Ahem.

At that time it looked nothing like the pics in the OP of this thread, they simplty had a lotto terminal at the counter.

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

                          Lep

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

There are row after row of self service machines for scratch tickets, lotto tickets and winning ticket scanners. I don't know if I am allowed to mention the name of the store but it is a lotto super store at the border of California and Nevada. Nevada doesn't sell lottery so Nevadans who live at the border usually flock to the store to buy tickets especially when the jackpot hits a large amount of money.

Wow that is awesome...I wish we here in NC could have something like that but it looks too much like a casino LOL with all those machines for gambling right close together like that....Our lawmakers would be protesting/preaching out front about people gambling and spending money they dont have on lottery tickets LOL
