The book that I thought would be nice to read was the Lottery Masterguide, so I bought it. The deceiving thing is that the book is paid publicity for the program advantage plus. The program again is a Dos program, that can cause trouble or costs. The LMG contains mistakes and they didn't publish any errata. So Smartluck doesn't come over very serious. Wheeling numbers is a job better done by computers to my opinion and experience. I printed big wheels straight on the forms from Excel with a macro. 165 combinations for a pool is a lot to write! No time for that!
Advantage plus gives the most occuring combinations, but no details with that. The approach is mainly done by groups, aiming the use of wheels. The tips published by Smartluck annoy me. The positive thing of it is that you get to know about skips, hits, frequencies and other if you never heard of those.

I didn't read Gail Howard's books, and I don't plan to either.  I am a firm believer that there are combinations & patterns in every Jackpot Game &  you should only be looking at numbers since the last matrix change.  Otherwise; you will be getting numbers that were just added or subtracted depending on wheather they increase or decreased the number of balls.  Certain combinations of numbers come in more often than others & each game has its own combination of numbers.  What works for one game doesn't mean it will work for all games.  As you mentioned the Powerball, lets go there.  Here is my Group 17.  As of 03/16/13, I have 97 Groups of combinations that are made up of 316 of the last 438 drawings of the Powerball or 72.15%.  I don't think Gail Howard's books can beat that.  Does her books tell you that the top Powerball itself since the last matrix change of the PB #'s is number 29 hitting 10 times while the PB's # 15 & 31 haven't hit at all. (0, zreo times).

 ************* PB GRP 2009-11-04 10 11 14 45 51 17 17 2010-01-13 16 22 30 51 58 25 17 2010-02-13 10 14 30 40 51 1 17 2011-12-24 14 16 30 51 52 19 17 2013-01-30 14 16 32 47 52 16 17 *************

If I had to play a set of numbers, I would wheel the number 10 14 16 30 51 52 to cover all variations of these numbers.

Input:  10, 14, 16, 30, 51, 52

1. 10-14-16-30-51
2. 10-14-16-30-52
3. 10-14-16-51-52
4. 10-14-30-51-52
5. 10-16-30-51-52
6. 14-16-30-51-52 - (shown above 2011-12-24)

I cannot predict when these numbers will come in again, but past history shows that these combination of numbers are better than any quickpick,

You can view all my combinations found on the Powerball game - Go To -  https://www.box.com/shared/f74qiezh2r

Good Luck & Best Wishes To ALL................................

Visit my blog on LP to view other games that have Combinations & Patterns.

A pattern forms when all the highlighted numbers within a Group come together & all hit in a single line or drawing.

 N N N N N F5 F4 F3 F2 F1 F0 14 16 30 51 52 1 0 3 16 102 201

I didn't feed my program with the last drawings.

Other: 1 12 23 27 43 or 1 18 35 39 44 ...

For any lottery software that gives you combinations to play, you must first determine whether or not the program is capable of predicting a winner.

Start with a fresh draw not entered into the data base that is well balanced, that looks "normal" rather then extreme.

See if there is any thing you could have done that results in the program picking that combination among those it suggests you play.

If the program can't predict a known winning combination by any means necessary, the odds aren't good for it doing so haphazardly in the future.

As for GH, you have to see how much to value the charts for prediction and weigh them in the V chart and then see where the winning numbers fall on the W chart when showing all the numbers in their order from best to worse.  Sometimes you can find cluster groups you can wheel.  Look into open cover wheeling in the 90-99% range.  Look into key number wheels.  Consider playing a "winable" game like Pick-5 before targeting a game that's amost impossible to win.  For the PB look at playing the 3 longest out.

Must be some of that GH langue like LCC and Cloud that's so hard for some lottery players to understand.
