North Port is now sold out of 50x no big winners here.
That's 1 place off the list now, 13 more locations to go.
@ Gators - Glad to hear about the decent return.
@ Duckman - Perhaps, but if someone wants $2MJ I think you can get them sent to a retailer in Jacksonville fairly easily at the moment. There's a place near me in Gainesville which managed to get 5 books of Super Millions and 5 books of 2MJ within a day. Depending on the retailer and their relationship with the rep, and what's available within the warehouse...it seems even these scarce games can be gotten found.

Holiday Gifts book number 25200 is waiting for me... probably too low, but..... maybe.
IMO, if the prize wasn't destroyed, no book would technically be "too low" - I don't think they put them out sequentially last year either, just like this year. And they shouldn't have any control over where in a pool a grand prize is printed. So, good luck!

The 2nd $10M prize was won on the $25 Fortune game in Sunrise, FL at a Mr Grocer. I stopped by that same store when I was in South FL, I remember they sold a $10k prize on the $1 Monopoly and $10k prize on $10 Monopoly.
After looking at up to date instant liability reports on that game, it is about 53% sold through so I wouldn't expect one of those to be hit for a while. The $10 Holiday Millions game is 62% sold through, still 2/2 of the prizes remaining. Do I dare say Holiday Gifts Pt. 2?

I'm wondering when we'll see the first $2m prize hit on the $10 Holiday Millions game. I'm seeing books in the 104k range. I also requested an instant liability report a while back, and it was 47% sold out a couple weeks ago. It is like to be closer to 50-55% sold through.
Hopefully we don't have a Holiday Gifts Pt. 2...
No problem Dracos! You deserve the credit haha I will find a big one one day! Thanks for the update on 50x as well, I've been playing other $10 tickets bc I went to AK and someone cleared them out a couple of weeks ago..maybe Adam? Lol jk. Up in Virginia now and these tickets make me miss Florida lmao..literally haven't hit much of anything on a lot of tickets I've bought. Good luck guys! I saw the 2nd ticket got hit on the fortune ticket..if it was me I'd be retired today haha

Hey my Publix just got two books of the old Holliday's $10 tics the green ones. Are there and 2 million prizes left??
Yes, still one remaining. I would recommend the 65k and lower range. If it is still out there, it should show up in a lower book number as Adam hit his prize in the 110k book range.

Hey guys, i have a question. My tax guy is on vacation or I would all him... ok. So let's say i owe the IRS 150k more at the end of the year. If i have 150k in losing tickets and claim them all, does that eliminate that entire 150k that's owned from my lottery wins?
If so, what would be the negative on just buying 100k or more in tickets trying to find another jackpot?

You're able to write off losses up to your winnings. My understanding is that you can get back up to the amount they withheld from you (and that you owe) if you have enough in losses to write it off at a 1:1 ratio. If you were to claim a $2M gambling losses deduction, your ass would be getting audited lol.
I think you are in a pretty good position to hunt for another jackpot since you have that tax incentive. Make sure you request receipts from retailers whenever you play, and have some type of "log" with the location you played, wins/losses, and net losses broken down by day.
If you want, you can try do a "tax return stimulation" which I believe HRBlock has on their website. You can input your income, winnings, gambling losses deduction, and see what you would ultimately owe under that scenario. This would be the best way for you to immediately see what your projected 2016 return would look like.

I might have to try that. I'm not going to claim 2 million in losses, but.... if i can play like 100k in scratch offs knowing that everything i lose, i basically save on my tax bill, why the heck not do it? I feel like in missing something here. It's almost like gambling for free.

Go ahead and plug in the numbers on the sample H&R Block return to see what it looks like for your financial situation. The numbers are going to differ from person to person.
For example, if someone won $10k and had $2.5k withheld and had $10k in gambling losses they could potentially receive that $2.5k that was federally withheld back. With how many deductions a person might have, their income and other taxes owed, it is tough to say what they may get back or owe ultimately.
