I'm sorry to hear about the poor return. Are you sure it wasn't $245/$600? I'm not sure what is the minimum payout on that game, but it is $245/$600 on Super Millions. You might have missed a $20 winner somewhere Ronnie. With the $20 Gold Rush Doubler's odds, a $500 winner should be there one in every six books. So, at least one in six books should yield a profit on average. The others are probably very close to that minimum payout. Personally, I would have went for one of the Gold Rush Doubler books in the 400k+ range (that's where the most recent distribution is at) since the likelihood of a $100k, $1M, or $5M prize is slim to none in the lower print since we've already seen numerous people come forth to claim those wins on the FL Lotto website and social media.
It was interesting seeing the $10 Holiday Gifts on display in a Publix. I only bought 1 to see which book number it was on, and it was in the 70k range so I walked away. They had 2 books in stock, and made such a scene when I asked them if they could grab them to tell me which book number they were on. I explained to them that lottery reps can create inventory reports for players to see where games are. They acted like I was some type of hacker or scammer for asking for such basic information. Their profound stupidity amazed me. They finally confirmed those two books were in the 100k+ range.
This is my first gold bar on ANY Gold Rush game since my almost one year of playing scratchoffs. I also found a $250 winner with the doubler symbol on my first ticket from the machine. The $500 winner took me buying 3 tickets to find.
I scratched through a HG book 17575, and a SM book 733317. The HG book returned about $350/$600, and the SM book $245/$600 (minimum payout).
IN OTHER NEWS, in the FL Lotto Scratchoff Winners PDF the first $2M prize on the $10 Holiday Millions is listed as $10M on the document...
