I'm on lottery hiatus, so correct I'm not playing at the moment. Gratz on the $100 win earlier today on GRD! Gratz Lucid on another $100 hit!
Trust me, I am extremely tempted to play the $10 2,000,000 jackpot game since there were 166 books listed as "received", 16 in "transit", and only 43 books activated. Mind you, this information is over 1 month old meaning there's even less books out there now. If there were 225 around on Dec 1st, it wouldn't surprise me if a little fraction of those books were gone. I know of the existence of at least 4 books that are in the 20k range, and too "old" for the final GP so you can immediately deduct those. Most of the books out there for 2MJ are in the relevant range for where the final prize should be. At this point, I'd buy anything in the 250k book range and above.
It seems like we're in the final phase where most retailers with $2MJ, and SM are hoarding them. I've come across two stores, one with 15 books of Super Millions, one with 12 books of Super Millions, and 10 books of 2MJ.
When there's an updated list of "ending games", perhaps we will see 2MJ, and SM on the list of games ending with how small supply remains? Why would a retailer keep ordering books of these games? I think these are savvy retailers trying to sell a jackpot at their store. I know there's some retailers who even read LP. Perhaps lottery reps are also "pushing" these books out to retailers they know do pretty well in sales. There's one retailer in Gainesville who told me he's unable to get SM because AK Kwik and the One Stop Chevron #3 in Lake City have the highest sales in the district (and get first dibs).
What do you all think?
