Ahhh didn't think about the Sweetbay closings and such...could have put a damper on what jackpots are actually out there..which is why I don't understand Florida not being honest on the count but still..
So I'm guessing 2MJ is the game to chase? If so I'm in! Lol. I was going to buy the book Kelly's had in gville but like I said earlier they where already closed :/ might have saved me some money if the book wasn't in our guess range though..
@ zzplay - That's a good point about the changing of store ownerships. That's a significant number of books being destroyed. They need to at least inventory and account for these prizes, especially when jackpots go unclaimed. They're so swift to point toward possible human errors such as people tossing away winning tickets.
@ Ronnie - I'd say it is the most promising. I have a state list of 2MJ that might be 3-4 weeks old. If my memory serves me correctly, it is around 200 books across the state. I see it as being the most promising to yield a grand prize since the last one wasn't claimed in well over a year and there's plenty of books in the relevant range on this game. You're in the Orlando area, right? Nikki Food Store in Oviedo has 10+ books of 2MJ, and 10+ books of Super Millions. Most of the 2MJ, if not all, are in the relevant range. (250k-270k books)

I'm in the Ocala area but I work in Orlando so I will stop by and grab one on Tuesday..I was hoping Kelly's would be in the range as well bc I'll be going through Gainesville again tom.
I remember there was a book of one of the tickets we all talked about in Brooker which I will be going thru tom as well so I might stop and see what's going on in that small town ;)

Also, raffle ticket was up to 554k as of 9pm. Unless it hits 45k+ sales tomorrow, it doesn't look like it will even hit the 600k mark. Will this jeopardize future raffles? Time will tell. They still profit, albeit, the margin isn't what they hoped to get.
I calculated the odds being 1 in 86k at winning $1M with 600k tickets. Looks like it may be a tad bit better than that. Odds are 1 in 83k if it only reaches 580k ticket sales.

Thanks Dracos! When do they stop selling the raffle tickets? I should have been buying the whole period instead of starting two days ago with the odds becoming better and better..

They stop selling them tomorrow night. I can see tomorrow easily generating another 30k sales due to last minute hype, leaving it around the 580k range. I hear you, I kind of wish I bought more raffle tickets instead of playing through junk SM rolls.
I know PA does these alot more regularly. I'm surprised more people aren't buying into the raffle ticket. I know the Powerball got extreme hype, but these are actually good odds for a $20 investment...

Especially good odds for the die hard scratchers...looking at the 2MJ list I see two stores in Lake Butler..which is where I was actually driving to tomorrow..might have to scoop them up :)

Good luck!
$2MJ has a decent number of $1k, $5k, and $10k prizes still out there as well. I hope you hit some type of claim ticket. :)
Also, what you might consider doing is getting a retailer you know in Ocala/Gainesville to order more books. Kelly Kwik Stop is very good about grabbing books, they can normally get 2MJ/SM within a few days and will order up to 5 of each book for you.

Thanks! That's a good idea but I would have to find a reliable retailer because I have noticed that Gainesville has a lot nicer retailers than Ocala does :/..I guess they are used to dealing with low buying customers etc but I can't seem to find the AK type families around here as much..

Just an updated on the raffle..556k was the ticket range I just bought. So I agree Dracos 600k isn't really feasible and 750 k is laughable. There are probably people in the lottery system pissed they lost out on at least $3 million dollars of profitable but I love the karma! Hehe

Bought another. No way it gets to 600 and 575 is now a stretch! I also picked up a book of 2MJ but I will be scratching them later on :) might be my lucky 24 hrs lol

Hope you have a great New Year!
Here is my 2016 Florida scratch off totals I started doing in July:
I risked $1176
I won $1362
My profit: $186
I have a question. Is it true the $10 holiday game is becoming scarce? My local store has them here.
@ Kamba -
Gratz on being on the profit side! The $10 Holiday Gifts is the one from last year, and has about 700 books or less across the state. The $10 Holiday Millions game is about only 60% sold through, so it still has another 39-40% of supply remaining.
@ Ronnie - Yep, I agree that it hitting 575k might even be a stretch. The odds for hitting $1M will be 1 in 82.1k, not bad at all. I might grab a few more later this evening.
On another topic, I noticed that the $20 Flamingo game has books up to the 793k range. With there being 760k books printed, it seems to be approaching the end of the print. There's still two $1M, and two $5M prizes outstanding. I'd be curious as to what the ILR data shows for this game as far as percentage sold through. Perhaps this is beginning the game to play.
