  What would the implications of having a party thrown for you Really mean? Would you feel that there are " strings" attached? A quid pro quo... so to speak?

     i just moved here not long ago so i don't really know anyone here lets keep it that way because i will be moving again before the year is over

  If my neighbors never threw a party for me before, why would they want to throw one for me because of a lottery win that didn't concern them?  If I won big, I would probably be moving before they knew.
