Spending $20 per week playing the lottery $10,400 in 10 years is normal from the lottery point of view.  USA lotteries are selling $20, $30 and $50 INSTANT SCRATCH OFF GAMES on the high end. Lotteries are selling these expensive Instant scratch off games because, they feel that lottery players can afford to play them everyday.

New Mega Millions game matrix starting in October is just a big INSTANT SCRATCH OFF GAME based on the odds of winning and prize structure.

Thrifty, thanks for doing the math, I think I can afford the $19 a week, in ten years I estimate I'll earn about $800 Gs

so I think I will eat and pay my obligations.

Also I almost never play scratchers.

The $19 goes to:

JC5 x 7 draws = $7

Jersey pic 6  2draws= $2

PBw/PP 2 draws = $6

MMw/MP 2draws = $4

add it up = $19

And soon I may be saving $4 a week by not playing MM.

Spending $19 per week playing the lottery is nothing relative to lottery players spending $100 per day playing the lottery $365,000 in 10 years.

I cringe when I see mostly little old ladies in DC spend $ 40 or more on tickets.

I will be moving my MM money to one of the VA games. Decades of dollars or win for life.

Well OK, I was thinking about using my MM $bucks on the new raffle game or just keep it in my pocket till the Jp hits that Big Billion JP

that they are hoping to build,

but I will no longer be helping w/the construction or it. LOL

Two million. It is not thrifty to pass up an extra million dollars for an extra $1 PP.

The lottery gods knew you were scared to play the extry buck fer the PowerPlay.

                        And scared money never wins.

                        They always know.

I decided to play MM with Megaplier yesterday. I spent $10 on a 5 lines ticket, and I did not match not even the Mega ball.Did you win anything on your $2 MM ticket?

It was really fun though looking for some winnings in those 5 lines. You should buy a $10 MM ticket someday.LOL

The little old ladies I see do not look like they can afford to spend that much money. I am fine with anyone winning it, even a 100 year old person. It just takes one ticket. No one is more deserving than anyone else.

I get a kick out of a little old person winning since it shows it is never too late to still dream.
