I DO NOT PLAY THE LOTTERY.

I DID NOT PLAY THE LOTTERY TODAY.

HOW TO WIN THE LOTTERY BY NOT PLAYING=SAVE YOUR MONEY TO PLAY THE LOTTERY SOMEDAY.

OUR REGULAR LOTTERY PROGRAMMING.

1) Playing the lottery more often for less tickets= Buying 1 lottery ticket.

2) Playing the lottery less often for more tickets= Buying multiple lottery tickets.

3) Playing the lottery less often for less tickets= Buying 1 lottery ticket monthly or yearly.

4) Playing the lottery more often for more tickets= Spending more money= Gambling addiction.

I SET A LOTTERY STOP LOSS LIMIT TO MINIMIZE MY LOSSES.

A lottery stop loss limit is very important to be a successful lottery player over the long term.

How many Mega Millions tickets did you buy for last night drawing? I bought $1 Quick Pick ticket with zero results. I was hoping to win the jackpot with $1. LOL

You should have seen the clerk face when I asked for $1 Mega Millions quick pick ticket. I told him that I knew the odds, and he replied it is good that you know the odds of winning.

I thought that you only buy $1 Mega Millions quick pick ticket regardless of the odds and jackpot size. LOL

Average people have a lottery mentality. Rich people have an action mentality.I hear these losers all the time, "if I could just win the lottery. If I could just get a chance. If my big break would come in" and blah blah blah. I don't expect anything to be given to me. If I want it you can be <snip> sure I'll go and get it. Play your stupid lottery, sit on your stupid couch in front of your stupid tv, and make your stupid excuses. Someone else is out there kicking ass and taking what is rightfully his.

Well I don't think it is stupid to play the lottery but as I always say, it needs to be only a part of your life. It should not be used as an excuse to place your life in a holding pattern. Life is short so go for that accomplishment or goal or dream now.

I'm a big fan of going after what I want and if I had a dollar for every person who wanted me to give them "shortcuts" to accomplish this or that, I'd be very rich already.  They are disappointed when I say there are no shortcuts. Work hard for it like I and others did.

Many years ago I heard the quote:

Work Hard (if you were not born into money this is how you aquire money)

Invest Wisely (Educate yourself, learn for yourself how and where to invest)

And play the Lottery (because you never know when lady luck may shine upon you)

Do this in this order. Unfortunately alot of people just want to play the lottery so they can avoid the rest.

Lots of people consider power playing a waste of money and would rather buy extra lines. I mostly play for the small prizes so I always powerplay Big Grin

I Agree! Unfortunately a large percentage of our society want instant gratification. They lack motivation to work hard and pave their own destiny for the future. 90% of the population are not saving enough for a retirement and almost half have absolutely nothing saved.

Relying on the lottery or the Government for your financial future should not be a part of ANYONE'S bucket list.

Often the people who work the hardest make the least money.  Our society has pretty much made it illegal to get out there and earn money.  You can't start a bakery from a home kitchen you must have a commercial kitchen and not an older one anymore either, all those sorts of things people used to do to get a start down to selling oranges on the corner are illegal.  Even kid's lemonade stands are illegal.  You have to have big money to start any business.  I've seen businesses go out of business without ever opening the doors to customers waiting years for permits to be approved, etc.

Lottery within reason is as good an investment of a dollar or two as most of the other things that cost only a dollar or two.  However, the lottery investment is the only one that could return big bucks, unless you find half a mouse in that burger.

One thing:  You have to mentally allow yourself to win.  Those who believe they can't win won't, they sabotage themselves every time.  Whether you believe you can or you can't, you're right.

Addictive gambling is true for fast games like roulette, blackjack and so on. The lottery games are different. You also don't see kids crying in front of a newspapers shop waiting for their parents to come out. You don't see cheaters with lottery games being escorted to the door by security.

When you bought a ticket, you heard the price. There is no excuse later, when you haven't won, that you didn't know the costs. You paid the tickets, so stop crying, it was your responsability.

Your jar full of pennies may have have a better chance of striking it rich than your PB tickets. You never know but there could be a few rare specimens like a 1955 Double Die lurking in there.

I agree that our Government (local, state and Federal) have made it nearly impossible for a new start up to succeed. There are many regulations one has to jump over and most have no correlation to the business itself.
