I played yesterday, and one of my QP's plus multiplier was 22, 61, 65, 66, 69 - 9 mmmmmmmm.  I would have never picked these numbers as my own numbers, different though.  I did not win, but I might try again.

I like it, the odds at nuts, but I like the idea of bigger jackpots which I'm sure the new odds will create. Smile   I still only play 1 ticket per draw and so far have won $2.

Did not think I would like the new odds before the change ... I don't like the new odds after the change.

Fewer people winning the $5000 and up prizes.

      Last night here in Florida:

      Grand prize winners = 0
      5-of-5 winners with Megaplier = 0
      5-of-5  winners without Megaplier = 0
      4-of-5 + MB winners with Megaplier = 0
      4-of-5 + MB winners without Megaplier = 0

The highest prize paid out statewide last night was $500 (13 winners) or with Megaplier $1000 (4 winners)

The final nail in the coffin for this game will be if they raise the base ticket price to $2 like PowerBall...

Scratch tickets are beginning to look much better  Smiley

Nope, I see the first $700+ million jackpot coming soon.

I wonder if there would be a cap set if it gets to 1 billion.

          Hi, Sir Rdgrnr,

Yes, I still like it although it has changed inumbers numbers. The mega part is easier than that before, that can help get the chance

No, I don't like it. I don't waste $1 on it. To me it's such a waste. We control the game, so I simply don't play and wish others stop living on this crazy dream of winning it big... when the odds are against us. You are more likely to get struck by lightning than winning. Remember we conttol the game. Stop playing if you want to make a change. Don't just talk about how much you don't like it and continue to be a feeder... know the odds, know the odds of winning the 2nd/3rd prize as well. It's all against you ... worst than before... now think about it... I wonder why. More people were winning the old way and they say they want to make it better.   Really? No No

qp is not a good way to win, we should learn more about its normal numbers appear every time find out numbers spaces in each distance

Although the odds are worse on the the new format,  I seem to be averaging one or two white balls per draw. I used to get one or none. I'm still not getting any mega balls. I'm still losing money just like the old format. Unhappy

Ridge- Was not a fan before not one now, all of that could change in a heartbeat should l win though. I play $2-3 when it climbs over $100 mil so no surprise there. These folk who came up with this new matrix probably had mathematicians onboard convincing them that winning with this new format is extremely difficult. So far they have been right. Players could be fooled by looking at the lower number of mega balls. Its bait & switch at its best.

*First time me seeing you posting a thread Big-guy, nice move.

They raised the odds of winning but the rollover is still low. It'll still take a long while to build up to the levels of PB and never as often. So it's worse odds and slow rises. What's to like?

I have played it and matched the MB once.  I will continue to have a dollar in for each draw, but probably not spend much more than that unless it gets ridiculously high again.

The real question is --- is it growing faster than before??

Which would mean they are selling MORE tickets.  It will only contuine if they can sell the same or more, if they start selling LESS tickets - well maybe we will see them dump it and go back?

It is growing faster than before, but only because it is benefiting from the change to 30-year annuity payout - larger advertised annuity on the same lump sum. If you look at the sales per drawing, it's weaker than comparable levels pre-matrix change (though there's not a whole lot of useful data to compare to given that Florida only recently joined the game).
