You pick it up, tap them on the shoulder and then tell them they just dropped this $100 and give it back to them.

You give it to them, because stealing is very bad Karma, what you put out into the world will come back to you times 3.

Did you exchange a walk on part in the war ?

For a lead role in a cage?

I agree with this so much... What you dish out is what you get back... I would without a doubt tell the person..

It only takes a second to be kind to someone, sometimes a smile is all it takes.

A similar scenario was presented to me recently. There was a gentleman waiting at the counter when I got in line behind him it was then that I noticed a wad of crumpled up bills on the floor. I informed him that he dropped something and he proceeded to pick it up and put it in his pocket then left the store...without any acknowledgment.

A simple thank you would have been nice but it wasn't expected.

It wouldn't matter where it happened, while buying lottery tickets or not, I'd tell the person as I'd want the same courtesy for myself.  Only time I've pocketed money I found on the ground is when there'd be no chance of finding the owner.  Found $2 a few months ago, by the side of the road, in front of a big field.  Finders keepers in that case.

Maybe it wasn't his and he was trying to get out as quickly as possible before someone came back looking for it.

I'd do the right thing without question, without hesitation.

Unfortunately, I don't think most people would.

Which is to be expected in an increasingly Godless society.

You pick it up, tap them on the shoulder and then tell them they just dropped this $100 and give it back to them.

I Agree!  About 20 years ago I was in line at an ATM, the women in front of me did her transaction and then went inside the bank.

I w/drew $100 but the machine gave me $120 one of the bills came out kinda folded in to an "S" shape and my receipt said $100

I went in to the bank and asked if she was just at the ATM, I think I scared her, asked her to count the $ she just got... yep she was $20 short

You can understand people being scared in that situation... very unusual.
