People are scared when they see that many combinations. To me,343 is very realistic. To win with just 10 numbers is pretty unrealistic in the world of systems. When I offer even 40 or 50 numbers I know I've lost most people's attention but realistically you have to put out some real bucks to get any return in lottery games. Unless,of course, you just get lucky.

You, my friend, have the REQUIRED UNDERSTANDING of both this game and the mathematics to win and be successful at it. I have tried my best in many a posts to get players to understand what's really going here in terms of number count and efficiency. I couldn't have said any of this better myself if I had even rehearsed it (100) times. Excellent post.

I think what scares most people is spending the $343 to make a $157 profit. The 343 is way out of most peoples budget. I
understand the premise of playing that many numbers to give yourself a greater chance of hitting, but don't you think the
list could be reduced by playing numbers that have a better probability of hitting. Singles over doubles and triples is the
most obvious way of course. But if you are "picking your spots" so to speak, I would think a smaller list would be just as
effective. Not necesarily 10 or 20 numbers, but say half of the 343. Now if you're playing every number six ways, then you're
only looking at 57 or so box combos which really isn't that many. Which makes the 343 sound more reasonable.
My feeling is that no matter how many numbers you play, only one is going to win, so I try to eliminate numbers that are
going too far away from the current trends of what is happening in the game.

Well, first of all, let's get the number count and payout in check in relevance to what we're discussing. Now, (343) is the TOTAL number count, and, @ .25/number the cost is $85.75 and the payout is $225 online okay. This is a straight play, per the title, and the profit seen here is actually $139.25....still great. If you play this same total set of (343) numbers @ $1/number, the cost is $343 as we're dealing with quarters here. The payout on a $1 straight play is $900, and, the profit now seen is $557. This is why I say that people need to educate themselves on what's going on with the numbers and costs. When you mix the 'styles' of plays together, you're really at the mercy of whatever happens i.e. boxed+straight. If you fail to hit a cerain way and don't recover enough, or, all money spent within a specific amount of time, then a straight hit is gonna be MANDATORY in order to even begin reasonably recovering expenses at some point. Am I making any sense here?
Sure, everyone wants to filter out as much as possible...get the list down to bare bones. Guess what? There will be absolutely no efficiency available, either. The less you have to work with, the worse your odds are and the longer it'll take to hit ANYTHING. Once again, it's prolly gonna require a straight. Hey, somebody's gonna get real lucky and hit straight on mixed play for only a few bucks...it happens. But, watch that same person and see how long, if at all, it takes to hit again. Winning and making money while winning are two completely different animals. If I've been playing for two weeks straight spending $10/day, that's $140 total. I'd BETTER hit for $80 twice or $40 (4) times to recover either way on a boxed-type play locally. Look around and tell me how often this actually happens...who's spending that kind of money and hitting with any type of consistency or efficiency? The (343) set can be filtered down within reason, but the more 'oxygen' you remove the less it can breathe.
