Precisely Savagegoose, if everybody couldn't win then there would be no winners.
We all know the odds of being the lucky winner, but with each draw we all face the same odds and just as much chance as the person who will hit the next jackpot. This is why people play and just because they state they are hopeful their lucky numbers will come up one day does not mean they are automatically misguided by foolish illusions or some unrealistic silly fantasy about their chances of winning. I have no doubt there are folks who live under such unrealistic expectations about winning, but when nobody has stated any such support for such thinking, they should not be lectured and labeled and further more treated as being one of those kinds of people.

Obviously you haven't been around here long enough to witness what I've seen written on LP. Yes, most are only hopeful, but you'd be surprised how many people actually believe they are going to win. Those people were the ones I was writing about.
I don't remember the amount of people who claim this because I lost count. It's in the range of about 40 to 50 times that I've seen this on LP in the years that have passed. Considering those 40 to 50 are just a small sample of the whole, I can only imagine the amount of people nationwide.

But I know you don't like facts.

Obviously you haven't been around here long enough if you are taking even half the stuff written by LP posters seriously, most is written just to start a conversation.

I disagree.
The passion in their writings is overwhelmingly obvious to me that they truly believe they will win. I'm not talking about one-liners, but specific reasons why they believe this. The gamut runs from A to Z.
Candelight certainly took it seriously. if that's the way he/she starts a conversation uninformed, well it's not my fault.

Yes, and I will continue to play. Every drawing is a different chance to get lucky with any amount of money; I gamble for fun and hopefully a payout would be a bonus in the future. I cant tell if your a troll so I'm just gonna ignore your other staements.
