Repost from Sully Wink

Step 1. Add ink to paper to create numbers.

Step 2. Drive car to gas station.

Step 3. Hand ink filled paper to " input your store clerk name " the clerk.

Step 4. Log onto Lottery Post

Step 5. Cruise the threads until numbers are posted.

Step 6. Smile and be happy/ frown and be sad.

Step 7. repeat steps 1-6 very for the very next draw.Cheers

Are you saying Todd is silly?

You obviously misinterpreted what I wrote. I love LP and all the ideas by the various posters, it's just the few here who are fanatical about something most likely not to occur in their lifetime. It's not like I lose sleep over this, but as a member, when I peruse the threads It's hard for me to ignore ignorance.

There are many interesting threads out there I enjoy reading, full of quality and substance. But when I see some here repeatedly claim the equivalent of 7+5=329, I can't keep driving. I have to stop and help the injured in this mathematically disasterous pile up. Wouldn't you stop and help too?

Yes you do.  Maybe not every day, but you do play the lottery sometimes.  Should one of us dig up the posts you have made in which you state you bought a ticket?  That's called "playing the lottery".

              Lover

You're known around here for being kind of creepy.

And you just keep adding to your resume.

Looks like disrespecting women is another one of your qualities.

I wouldn't say that people are stupid when it comes to lottery games but, lots of people really are mathematically challenged through no fault of their own. When a person reasonably mathematically inclined, they truly understand the vast differences of the Pick games and the Jackpot games The small games...they can, and, are won regularly both stateside and online with plenty of proof. These are the players that know what it takes, besides that tad bit of luck, to win.

The jackpots games are nothing but luck-style games that cannot be mastered due to the large field of numbers...just that simple. The fact that people play and hope to hit big one day doesn't make them stupid, though. The money on all those losing tickets is allocated to accommodate lots of things and isn't actually a 'lost cause' so to speak. I see a very common thing happening around here which is very, very misleading to those individuals lacking math skills but I won't elaborate.

So, my answer is no. The lottery is a hope-based, methodical way of generating and recirculating money...lots of it. The taxes on it are stupid, though, to an extent. A gift tax? Really? If it were a gift, then you'd pick people at random and just 'give' them the money. People are spending their money to try and win so that 'gift tax' business tihsllub in my eyes. Oh, well.

                L.L.

Small games, frequent wins, and regular payouts 'cause.....

There are seven days in the week...'Someday' isn't one of them.

Then you're in the wrong place. This is were the "addicted" gamblers are and you will not be able to convert them.

Go to the speakers corner in your town and reach out to the occasional gambler instead. Much larger chance of converting someone.

Taxes are mandatory but playing the lottery is an option available to any adult.

Everything is a tax on the stupid and mathematically challenged.

The lottery is the only tax that can pay you back in millions for a dollar paid making it the best tax there is.

Do stupid people ever win the lottery?  Yes they do.  More a matter of luck then brains.
