Yeah it was but sometimes when you're dealing with some people who are in an alternate reality you can only take so much.
Stack no tells us that actual testimonies of the crew members is 'no source'.

It's only a source when it's documented and the recollections of how each individual crew member was treated before and after varies. When the crew members started doing the "Hawaiian salute", they were aware of the consequences and knew it would be worse when caught. None of that explains the relevance of where you were on January 23, 1968 or 11 months later or how any of it ties in with the topic of this thread.
