In a Powerball matrix of 5/59 1/35, do you think any of the potential 175,223,510 number combinations have an equal chance to be picked? Or would there be a combination drawn that would make you think something was fishy?

1-2-3-4-5 PB 6 is just one example of a "strange" combination. What if 55-56-57-58-59 PB 35 was picked. Would that raise any red flags with anyone?

I don't think those numbers will ever come out like that, yes it would be fishy.

      For me, it's fishy now.

Why would it be fishy? 1-2-3-4-5 PB:6 has the same chance as every other combination. I never understood the ignorance in that department.

Look at it this way, the last PB winning numbers were 05-06-37-41-54, PB: 26. How much time do you think will pass before that exact combo will show again? A very very long time. Of course those combos above can come in the next draw because they have the same chance of showing, but it's very highly unlikely. The time for 1-2-3-4-5, PB:6 just hasn't come yet.

It's happened in other games with less odds like Fantasy Five games. Not so much 1-2-3-4-5, but I've seen combos in the mid 20's, 20-21-22-23-24 for example. Given enough time, they will show.

why did you rate my topic one star? I was asking a question about the lottery in a lottery discussion forum. I wasn't taking a position one way or the other. Asking questions about the lottery is not allowed on Lottery Post?

Laugh because there would be thousands of jackpot winners.

After taxes they'd all have enough to buy a single Snickers bar lol.

WinkI think Thrifty would need CPR since he used to post those numbers in the Maddog challenges...and I am pretty certain he does not actually play those numbers.

Onlymoney gave you 1 star because he's a ten year old who thinks he's funny.

1-2-3-4-5-6 is one of millions of combinations that have as much chance as any other combination.

I would never play a combo like that, not because I don't think it could or would show, but rather because a LOT of people play that combo, and I'm not interested in splitting a jackpot with a couple hundred people.

I think you asked a good question.

That's hard to say, but I would not play that combination.

Hard to believe. Just like many play triples in Pick 3, quads in Pick 4.

In Texas our All or Nothing game has 24 numbers, in which a player chooses 12. In any given draw, a couple hundred players will play all even or all odd numbers, the first 12 or last 12.

So, I imagine there are many, many people around the country that play 1-6 on PB and or MM, and their state lotto games.

Wow I knew about pick 3 and 4 but I would never pick 1-6 for a pick 6. I guess that is a quick way to pick numbers.

It might get a little more reaction than any other set that might be drawn only because it's five consecutive numbers.  How many times have we seen any five consecutive numbers drawn in jackpot games?
