Starting JP should be $200,000,000.  That would be interesting.

    MegaMillions hit again already! LOL

Even the regulars that want to spread it around are upset and missing big jackpot fever.  You know it admit it!  When i saw Todd write two articles back to back going from 160 million up to only 180 million you know people are ready for a big one.

Up the odds to 500 million to 1 MegaMillions.  Go on do it.  2 hoppers with 44 balls each drawing the usual 5 &1 for a 500 million to 1 odds.  Imagine a 1 billion or even a...........3 billion dollar pot?!?  Why even the british royals and arab oil sheeks will be flying in to buy tickets.  Lets Party!  Who's with me? Big Grin

The thing I remember about jackpot fever is passing stores that sell lottery tickets and seeing their parking lots full, along with the long lines to get tickets. I also remember multiple people at work running lottery pools and getting in on all of them. One lady charged $5 each and we had over 100 tickets. No big winners though.

A few years back, before MegaMillions became available in Louisiana, there was a frenzy going on and the jackpot was over $400million. I said that if it broke $500 million, I was going to drive a couple of hours to Orange, Texas to buy tickets. There was a winner so that didn't happen. When it got over $600 billion, they were selling tickets here so I didn't have to make the drive.

These days, I concentrate on state games and scratch offs. I only play the Powerball and MegaMillions on my own if they break $100 million. I do play with my lottery club at work every drawing though so winnings would have to be divided up amongst 11 people.

More are winning which is nice, but a big jackpot would be exciting.

I got a ticket for my state's lottery drawing. Hope I win.

Jackpot games. PFFFT  The odds are so :poop: y  most of us will never have snowballs chance of winning. (Just being honest here) Can we dream of defying the odds, yeah... And we do, that's why we play.

Jackpot fever is never going to return, it's way too easy to win powerball and mega millions for some.

Yesterday I ran a jackpot fever and got myself 6 powerball tickets. Wrong move! I'll stick to what's not working and play only 1 line. No power play either. For now.

Me too. Not a single number in 6 lines. Sometimes it feels like the numbers are mocking you. Oh well, so be it. Good luck and let the hunt continue

I bought few extra lines while I was out too. And just like you I didn't hit any numbers. Maybe I should try my luck with scratchers.

Yeah, I'm in every draw I can play. Any jackpot would get me out of debt and except for the 2 Step game, let me retire.

I second that emotion.  Let me retire....

I think scratch offs are better if you can buy a few and go home. Scratching them at the store is inviting trouble. Thumbs Up good luck if you're playing tonight.

We'll never see another $300 million jackpot. Sales have been weak because it keeps getting hit too, making it take 14 rollovers just to reach 300+ and all the more likely it gets hit before then. The two games are working against each other.
