There's clearly some sort of error in those numbers, because there's far too much correlation between a state's number of winners and population.

    unfair advantage....are you serious? Let's say there was a lottery where there were 100 white balls and you had to guess which white ball will be drawn. Are you saying the guy who buys 95 tickets to cover 95 of the 100 possible outcomes has an unfair advantage over the guy who chooses to only buy 2 tickets?

    Yes. Seriously stupid. Most  10 year olds would understand the concept with no more than a couple of minutes of explanation.

      Wow!!!

      Someone in my state just totally screwed over New York and California!  It's about time those states tasted defeat for once.  I'm not gonna bother to check my tickets, but it for sure wasn't me.  I'm afflicted by the lottery curse of "Can't win"

      California does not get screwed, she allows people in other States to win from time to time. This is one of those times. Be thankful.Big Smile
