Yes,I was bored while hanging on the line for 1/2 an hour this morning talking to the phone company about them screwing up my website, lol.

Lotto Laughs - You have a new website ??? !!! I know we're not supposed to post links to other websites, but you have to find a way to let the LP membership know, b/c everyone is interested in your lottery systems.  You're simply the BEST !!! -  LOTTO GURU !!!

I Googled your Ebay name - Lotto Laffs.  There is a website in the UK, using that name selling lottery systems [is this You ??].  If not,  watch out for copycats riding your wave, trying to profit off of your name.

I bet someone, somewhere, will read this thread and say, "I'm not playing those numbers anymore," and then 2 weeks later

they will come in.  And they'll be pissed.  Bang Head    Green laugh

No I don't, but RoadRunner Cash here in New Mexico produced the numbers 1,2,3,4,5 a few years ago and 7 players split the $27,000 jackpot. So yes, there are players that DO play those numbers, but not me.

If nothing else, examining people who play the lottery offers some health professionals an interesting look into the minds and behaviors of human beings.

We all know that there's a cult of 5/39 matrix players who play 1 2 3 4 5 even though it's never been drawn in any 5/39 game played anywhere.

I checked the last 1000 drawings of New York's Take5, (a 5/39 game) and five numbers from the same number group (units, ten's twenty's and thirty's) has not happened. So obviously five sequential numbers from the same number group has not been drawn during that same time period either.  I seriously doubt that over the entire life of Take5 (the game started in January of 1992) five numbers from the same number group have been drawn, but it'd take me forever to verify that, so I'm not going to do it.

              Would those same players who play 1 2 3 4 5,  play 5 6 7 8 9?  I doubt it.  They'd probably tell you "Nah. That aint gonna happen."  Yet they'll play 1 2 3 4 5.  hmmmmmmmm  G5

I knows what you be sayin' brah.   Dey ain't no reason one, two, free, fo' 'n' fav caint come up, jes like any odda numba.

So wha does we say  "aint nebba agwinta happen?"

Yeff, ah ufta play doze numbaz.

                  No, never played 1  2  3  4  5, but I have played 1  2   3   4  6,  I look at it kind of like lo-ball poker.

                  1  (Ace)  2  3  4  5 would be a straight which stinks in lo ball, but 1  2  3  4  6 is a good hand.

Also, if I play 1 2 3  4  6  I consider it a 'sacrifice bunt' and play a QP with it, hoping that the first set would be a key that 'unlocks' a winning set.

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

                  Lep

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

Amazing to read it's happened twice. And the RoadRunner Cash 5/37 game is 3X more difficult to win than PA Treasure Hunt 5/30 game.

However, on a related topic, the RoadRunner cash winners fared far better winning $~3850 (~14% each) splitting a $27000 jackpot verses the 242 PA Cash 5 jackpot winners who played 5-10-15-20-25 splitting a $100,000+ jackpot to win a paltry $439 (less than 0.5% each)...

To hit a jackpot of $439 on a game with odds of 575,000 (back then it was a 5/39 game) is a huge letdown. Has there ever been a worse pari-mutual payout than that infamous PA Cash 5-10-15-20-25 drawing?

No. I remember reading in one of the books by Gail Howard in the early 90s where she told several thousand tickets with 1-2-3-4-5-6 was sold in NY every week. If those numbers won the jackpot would be very low.

My guess is many people buy those tickets in Norway to play in Viking Lotto as well.

Nope never tried it. I'm guessing it's not likely to come up like that. Although, who knows, I guess anything is possible but I wouldn't do it myself.
