How long will you wait to play PB and MM now that the big jackpots have been won?

Business as usual- I have a ticket for every draw [ 20 ]  [40.00%]
Waiting until the jackpot is over $100m [ 3 ]  [6.00%]
I'd gladly accept a small jackpot! It happens! [ 14 ]  [28.00%]
Let it grow! I'll participate after a few draws. [ 3 ]  [6.00%]
I'll wait until it's nearing a half-billion, again [ 8 ]  [16.00%]
I gave up on them, long ago! [ 2 ]  [4.00%]

With those recent jackpots numbers soaring so high, and then starting over- Do you find yourself taking your sweet time to return to buying tickets. Has the smaller amount of millions in the jackpots caused them to lose some of their shine and splendor? Day dreaming a little less? Or do you find youself altering your lottery daydream to fit the current jackpot size? Have you given up on either all together due to the odds?

How long until you find yourself purchasing a Powerball or Mega Millions ticket?

Two bucks a ticket for powerball, I'll wait until the JP reaches 300 million or so.  Then I'll only buy one ticket.

I have my one ticket for MM, PB and NYS Lotto since you can't win if you don't play.

My choice was... "Business as usual- I have a ticket for every draw"

You know..... a dollar and a dream.

You can't do as much with winning a lower value jackpot, but you can't win anything without at least one ticket.

I would be quite happy winning a $25 mil or $40 mil jackpot or even 2nd prize of $1 mil.

It takes two to tango: So l have 2 tickets for MM & 2 tickets for PB. Total cost $6.00.

Should I win either: It would have cost me less than a decent burger,  fries included.

Well said and agree 100% Thumbs Up

1 Mil would be enough for me to 'enjoy' all the simple things in life.

I still play but only minimal amounts, but not Powerball Puke.  ONLY play that one when it gets big, not a fan of that game but can't help but be part of the 1/2 billion jackpots.

I gave up on them a long time ago, If I cant win the smaller games, its all the more unlikely for me to win the bigger games.

Some days I buy a ticket, some days I don't. It depends more on how lucky I feel than the jackpot size.

Kind of entertaining that some people striving to win hundreds of millions insist that they would turn their nose up at $15M or $40M 'out of nowhere'.

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.
