How long will you wait to play PB and MM now that the big jackpots have been won?

Business as usual- I have a ticket for every draw [ 20 ]  [40.00%]
Waiting until the jackpot is over $100m [ 3 ]  [6.00%]
I'd gladly accept a small jackpot! It happens! [ 14 ]  [28.00%]
Let it grow! I'll participate after a few draws. [ 3 ]  [6.00%]
I'll wait until it's nearing a half-billion, again [ 8 ]  [16.00%]
I gave up on them, long ago! [ 2 ]  [4.00%]

Well the nice bump in the PB from 40/28.1 to 52/36.5 may be an indicator that a few more people are fine with winning the smaller jackpot amounts.

It probably came from multi-draw tickets people bought for the big jackpot.

Well if no one wins tonight it's supposed to rollover to 67/46.5 from 52/36.5. $10M increase for the cash value would be a good bump this early in the run.

It's the annuity value that gets the $10 mil bump, not the cash value.

Cash value amount is about 70% of the annuity amount.

Actually the annuity amount would increase by $15M from tonight's drawing.

Actually the annuity amount would increase by $15M from tonight's drawing.

The $15 mil increase must mean that more people bought tickets over Powerball's projected minimum threshold.

If you look back to the last time when the annuity jackpot began at $40 mil, it went from 40 to 50 to 60 to 70 to 80 to 90 to 100 to 110 and then when ticket sales picked up it went from 110 to 123 getting a $13 mil bump. and so on.....

If it was the cash value that got the $10 mil bump, the annuity jackpot amount would have increased about $14 mil with each rollover. It's only when ticket sales exceed the threshold amount that the annuity is increased more than the minimum increase amount of $10 mil.
