You see the workout I have been doing for awhile above. This is just a testing phase which is why I have said do the workouts everyday and watch to see which method is coming out more, the 317 method or the 321 method for pick 3. the other newer method I'm using is the 4321 and the other which will be explained better in a few minutes. I have had very good results with all of them but trying to find the one that's more accurate and consistent.
Newer method: the 321, you get the workout by placing 321 at the top and circling it so you don't get confused. now place the winning cash 3 drawn under the 321 (as shown) now start adding the winning cash 3 number to the circled method. you do this by adding 1 line at a time 9 +1 = 10 but you only use the 0 or the "tens place" of every 2 digit number, so you would use only the 0. the 1 is gone completely don't carry over. next line over 2+2=4 then 8+3= 11 but you only use the 1, the other gets thrown away. continue adding the sum of each line to 317 till you get the number winning number at the bottom again, then stop.
you get your highlighted digit by adding today's date 08/12/2016 (you will not use the year). add 8 + 12 = 20, use the (tens) place of 0. highlight all the 0's in the workout and start looking for the next winning draw. NOTE: the method is not used to find your pick 3 numbers, it goes away.
The newer 321 method is newer for me but don't hurt to throw it in. you will do exactly the same thing as you did with the 317 method for you workout.
The newer 4321 method is done exactly the same way as pick 3 with the exception of an additional number, no changes on the way you do the workout.
The other methods are:

The winning number draw for example 8679 you would use 6412 method, if 2733 was drawn you would use 1412 method and so on. you use the method (circled) place the last winning number drawn and just start adding. add the date 8+12=20 only use the 0, go through your finished workout and highlight all the 0's. start looking for next 3 or 4 digit number you want to play.
That's pretty much it in a nutshell, nothing complicated but just adding.
How I find my numbers: I use the pick 4 and pick 3 together, If i see a number on the pick 3 I look to see if that same 3 numbers are together on the pick 4. for example for tonight I see at first glance 202 on all 4 methods , I love that number so ill play it in that order. now will it be there, no clue by why not. it's not like I have a better number at the moment. So i write down several numbers that I see and if i still like while I'm filling out cards I'll play it. that simple. I look at the pick 3 forums also If someone is suggesting a number and it's on my list, I might play it.
forgot to mention in these workouts, your numbers must touch around or including your highlighted number. no jumping over to get to another number. if you want that's your choice but I look for my numbers to be connected to each other, not in order just grouped together off of a highlighted digit for that day. a new workout must be done after every drawing.
