Due to the overwhelming response from the new Combinations Analysis for Pick 3 and Pick 4, I pushed up the release of an amazing new feature that may just leave some minds blown. (You can check out the news story in case you missed it.)
As a bonus, not only was the new feature added to Combinations Analysis, but it was also added to the Pairs Analysis for Pick 3 and Pick 4. So everything mentioned here applies to that system as well.
The new feature is called Date Filters, and they are going to put some tremendous new power in your hands.
As you probably already know, the Combinations Analysis lets you choose from any date range you wish, and then it shows you a report of all the combinations drawn during that date range.
But what if you could also specify certain days of the week, months, and/or days of the month within that range? That's what Date Filters do.
Here are some examples of analysis you can achieve using Date Filters:
- Combinations within just the month of March for the past 10 years. (Using a Months filter.)
- Combinations drawn on Mondays in the past year. (Using a Days of the Week filter.)
- Combinations on just the 1st day of every month in the last year. (Using a Days of the Month filter.)
- Or you can combine Date Filters to show the combinations that fell on my birthday in the history of the game. (Using a Month filter and a Days of the Month filter.)
- Better yet, you can do something really crazy like the combinations that fell on my birthday, but only when my birthday fell on a Saturday. (Using a Month filter, a Days of the Month filter, and a Days of the Week filter.)
When you start using Date Filters, your possibilities become endless.
Date Filters are very easy to use: just click the Show Date Filters button below the date range you selected, and it will slide open all the possible filters. Simply start un-checking the weekdays, months, and/or days that you don't want to include in your analysis.
When the analysis is complete, the report will show you how many combinations there were in total during the date range before the filtering was applied, as well as the total combinations remaining in the report after filtering.
I hope you all enjoy the new Date Filters feature and I'm looking forward to hearing about the useful things you're able to do with them!
