I'm happy to announce a big update to the Lottery Post desktop website!
Depending on how you personally use the website, one of the biggest changes involves the web browsers we support. This is outlined in the first bullet point below, and you can see the initial announcement about this coming change here: https://www.lotterypost.com/thread/320786
- We say a fond farewell to Internet Explorer versions 10 and lower. Starting with this release, only Internet Explorer 11 is tested and supported. If you are using IE10 or lower, please either upgrade to IE11 or use an alternate web browser, such as Microsoft Edge (which is built into Windows 10), Google Chrome, or Firefox.
- Upgraded the text editor to the latest release -- includes a new display theme and better support in modern web browsers, but no longer supports Internet Explorer 10 or lower. If you're using IE10 or lower you will automatically be switched to the "simple codes" text editor.
- Fixed all "copy to clipboard" features throughout Lottery Post so that they function correctly and no longer require Flash.
- Fixed the Lottery Post Book Store to once again show our hand-selected lottery books available for purchase at Amazon.
- Improved all past lottery results pages to display the winning numbers is a much more readable (graphical) format that mirrors the main results pages.
- Performance improvements that should help most pages download and render quicker. Includes the beginning of new SVG-based graphics implementation that vastly improves download times, while rendering much sharper images on all device display types.
- Fixed a long-standing rendering bug in the emoticons feature of the text editor.
- Fixed all sounds in the Sudoku and Monitor Site Activity pages.
- Improved all Member pages to allow navigating back to previously viewed tabs using the web browser's Back button.
Also, in case you missed it, there was recently a big improvement to the Lottery Combinations Generator, which is discussed here: https://www.lotterypost.com/thread/320802
