It's for me and other people that are curious on how to stay anonymous by going public.
I know that the grandma that won the 1 billion dollar powerball wore sunglasses. A lot of people wore hats. How bout a face mask?
Can we just hang the face mask on our chin, instead of fully covering it.
You could probably get away with wearing a pair of those sunglasses that are for light sensitive people. I have a big pair that go over my regular eye glasses and hides a big portion of my face. You could also think about wearing a wig or a turban to hide your hair.
The way to hide in plain sight, as it were, is as simple as wearing and doing things you wouldn’t normally wear. If you normally wear makeup, don’t. if you normally wear eye glasses try not wearing them or if you don’t wear glasses get a pair of glasses with plain glass. Wear a loud print shirt or dress that will take the eye away from your face and on to your outlandish top. It doesn’t have to be a costume.
The sad thing is that no matter what you do to hide how you look it isn’t going to stop the people you really need to be wary of. Those are the people who already know who you are and want a hand out or those who have the patience to wait until your guard is a little down and then try to con you. It isn’t that I am cynical. It just seems in most of the stories you see of people who have won big jackpots and later don’t have anything to show for it —or say they regret it— it is their familiy and friends that are often the cause of great pain and financial loss in the long run.
