Jackpot Triple Play still has that $2,000,000 jackpot prize hangin' around...... It's been at 2 million for the last three or four draws.
I won $10 instantly playing JPT last Tuesday. If you buy a JPT ticket between 4 PM and 7 PM on weekdays with The Combo added, you might win ten bucks instantly. The promo is good through June 30 and winning coupons must be redeemed by that date. If you win, the terminal will print out a regular JPT ticket that says you won ten dollars instantly at the top of the JPT ticket. It'll then will also print another another ticket which is "the coupon." That's the ticket you give to a retailer and they'll hand you ten bucks.
I bought 5 tickets last Tuesday. I saw the regular JPT ticket that said I won ten bucks, and it said to take "the coupon" to a retailer to redeem it, but I didn't see the coupon that it also printed. (it was buried/mixed in with my other JPT tickets). I thought the clerk had made a mistake and hadn't given me a coupon so I asked her about it. She took a look at my regular JPT ticket and said "I see that it says you won ten dollars instantly, but I cant run this through the terminal because the drawing isn't until tonight." So I took my tickets and left the store thinking I wasn't going to get the ten bucks I had won. When I got home I was looking at my tickets, and that's when I spotted the extra "coupon" that the terminal had printed saying to take it to the retailer to redeem it.
The next day when I took it to be redeemed, I asked the clerk if they had seen or cashed any of the JPT instant winning "coupons" yet. She said she had seen one, but that she couldn't cash it because it had already been cashed. She laughed and said "That guy thought he was slick and tried it to cash it a second time. He didn't know I have to run it through the terminal before I can cash it." The terminal must not print "winning ticket" on the coupon like it does when you cash a winning Florida Lottery ticket, otherwise that "slick" guy probably wouldn't have tried to cash it twice.
How embarrassed do you think that "slick" fool was? But hey, times are tough these days with gas at $5.00 a gallon. G5
