I played one line last night and had 3 numbers! I had 23, 26 (thanks to G5 mentioning it a few posts ago) and 34. Always nice to hit when there's a rollover.
I bought 7 JTP tickets last Friday and won $1 so I guess things really do even out! Lol

I have only heard such wonderful things about Savannah. It is certainly on my list. I'd love to make a leisurely drive up the East Coast and stop in all the places I want to visit. It's probably an easy trip if I just plan it out. Glad you are safe on the road. Are you visiting family or just getting away for a bit? I like to think that Mrs. G5 and The Daughter G5 aren't telling you what to do...they're just giving you a little direction!
I'm in for JTP tonite. I've abandoned my FF5 but I'll get back to it.
Good luck to all!
I was surprised to see only 1 winner last night. Those low numbers usually turn out multiple winners.
HOME!!!
We picked up The Daughter G5at The Savannah airport and stayed the night there. The next day we went to Charleston S.C. which is also nice. Then on to Charlotte NC the next day. The Daughter G5wanted to check out Charlotte as a place to live. She has a friend that lives there and they're thinking they'll open a private practice together. (They're both Speech Language Pathologists)
The Daughter G5also has a friend that is a former NASCAR driver in The xfinity Series. So last Saturday we went to Charlotte Motor Speedway to watch The Drive for Breast Cancer Cure 250 race. Ever been to a NASCAR race? Me neither. When they said "Gentlemen start your engines" I could not believe the ROAR! Talk about loud!!! But that was nuthin compared to when that pack of 32 cars came around that turn at 180 MPH and blew past us... The grandstand is made of aluminum and my seat actually vibrated each time they went by.
I did NOT play either the Georgia, South Carolina or North Carolina lottery's. Why? Because their versions of Pick5 STINK! We are incredibly lucky Florida has FF5.
I bought a ten dollar FF5 QP today at a gas station in Ocala. Didnt have time to look at the numbers this morning so I'm flyin' blind tonite. G5

So much for my ten dollar QP ticket. It had three or four lines with one number.
Without the software I have and use, it's tough to win anything. Although I know that I'll still need a lot of luck in addition the software to win a FF5 jackpot, the software does make a noticeable difference in terms of winning small prizes.
While I was away, although I don't know how I managed to do it, somehow I left one of our bags on a curb by the parking valet stand at a hotel that we stayed in. When we arrived in Charlotte, (a three hour drive from where I left the bag) I discovered that the bag was missing. So I called the hotel where we had stayed, and they had it. (It doesn't have a name tag on it so they had no idea who to call) It's a good thing for me that they had it because the very laptop I'm typing on was in that bag. They couldn't boot the laptop up to possibly find a clue as to who might own it because it has a "power on" password installed on it. Do you know how integrated/involved your computer and smartphone have become into your life??? If you lose either one of them you'll quickly discover how essential they are to everyday living.
My iPhone isn't long for this world either. I've noticed that after I charge it to 100%, it very quickly is down to 50% or less. It's an old iPhone 8 (which I love) and because all the iPhone's that have come out since mine have NOTHING on them that's a "gotta have it" game changing feature, I sure as Hell wont spend $1,000 or more on an upgrade. My wife has upgraded a couple of times since I got my iPhone 8 many moons ago. For the life of me I dont know why she bothered to do that. There is no feature on her phone that makes upgrading worth it. Apple wants everybody to keep upgrading their iPnone so they can keep making money, but other than the cameras on them, nothing is worth the bucks that it will cost you to upgrade. As far as the camera goes, it's impossible for me to care less about it. So what if it can take better quality pictures? I hardly take any pictures with my iPhone. Yes, the camera did come in handy a few times over the years I had my iPhone 8, but not very often. I'll keep watching the ads for phones on TV. Could be I wont be owning an Apple phone again. I'm sure I can quickly learn to use The Android Operating System especially if Google is offering a great deal on a nice phone. G5

Because I was away for four or five days I hadn't checked The Top prize and Retailer Information Report.
Today I see that on Oct 5th, a jackpot was won in a Publix located on Route 301 in Parrish. I sometimes shop in that Publix, but that's not why I'm posting. It's the fact that there was another FF5 jackpot winning ticket sold in that store a few months ago. Why wasn't me???? G5

I dunno how it did it but #23 has managed to jump up to 50 hits this year... maybe it's because I wasn't watchin' and playin' due to the fact I was on the road and yesterday I didn't leave the house....
Anyway it's leading the pack and #12 is hot on #23's heels with 49 hits in 2022.
Let's say #23 gets two more hits in October, then another 10 hits in November and December. That'll put it at 62 hits for the year, and that's just hitting for the average. Could be it'll hit 63 or 64 times in 2022. We'll see. G5

Last night there was one winner of the FF5 jackpot for approximately $175,000.
That's still about $20,000 lower than what we typically saw prior to Hurricane Ian. I haven't seen any jackpot winners listed on The Top Prize Report from Southwest Florida since the storm either. Electric power has been restored to most people in that area, but I'm sure many lottery retailers were entirely wiped out even if they do have power.
The west coast winners I've seen on the report have all been Tampa and Clearwater and in that one Publix in Manatee County not too far from me. Haven't seen any jackpot winners south of Sarasota County. Makes me wonder for how long jackpots will stay in the range they're currently at. Snowbirds will be coming to Florida soon, but I doubt Southwest Florida will see that many of them. My kids from New York are coming for Thanksgiving but they are going to fly into Fort Myers to see my daughter in law's relatives for a few days prior to coming here. G5

That's okay GiveSix?
It sure isn't OK!!! But it did make me feel humble. And being humiliated isn't necessarily that bad of a thing.
What it does make me realize is that lottery players need a ton of patience and they must be persistent. Most players will not win a jackpot in their lifetime, but if players give up playing entirely because they had something happen to them which is completely normal (they won nothing) then that guarantees they will never win a jackpot. Last night there were two repeaters - #20 and #31. #'s 11 & 14 hit for the first time in October, now #'s 4 ,6, 13,15 &18 have yet to hit in October. A few of them will hit soon. #'s 20 & 31 have 5 hits each in October.
Picked up two Free Tickets off of #12 which moved into a first place tie with #23 for the most hits in 2022 with 50.
Sum = 88, 2 odd/3 even, two repeaters, one same last digit, one adjacent, three from the last 4 draws, and three from the last 10.
