Is it coincidence that they pulled part of the PAGE NUMBER today from the Unlimited$$ thread? Today was 963, the current page number for today was 1936?!?! This has also happened in the P4 as well, pulling the page number. The odds? 1:999 or 1:9999. This thread has been going since 2013, just way too obvious to me people!

Nothing like throwing the fraud right in your face.....smdh!

Maybe we should just call Raleigh and ask for the number for Sunday?

The Gambler's Fallacy

Suppose you tossed a coin and got 8 consecutive tails. What would be the probability of getting a tail the next time? Answer: 0.5. Just as in all the other tosses. The fact that you have gotten 8 tails in a row does NOT mean that you are "due" for a head. Before you start tossing the coin, however, the probability of getting 8 tails in a row is VERY small. It won't happen very often. Once it HAS happened, though, the probability of a ninth tail is still 0.5.

Same thing goes for baseball. Baseball?? Have you ever heard the announcer say that the batter has struck out 10 times in a row and is "due" for a hit? Same fallacy. Each at-bat is an independent trial; previous attempts have no influence on the current one. The probability of a hit is just the same as before. If this batter is striking out a lot, maybe the batting coach had better get busy!

Remember: Coins and dice have no memory. If you flip a coin ten times and it happened to come up heads all ten times, what is the probability that the eleventh flip will result in heads? 50%, the same as ONE trial. The gambler's fallacy or The Law of Averages thinking is the mistaken belief that a tails result is "due".

Just heard a news story where NCEL's 2021 DAILY sales were 10.4 MILLION !!! Too bad they did not say how little they pay out in average daily prizes.....they don't want you to know. Even if they did say, not sure I would believe it. Sure they have staff, cars and machines, but how many other NC only companies do you know of that rake in an average 300+ Mill A MONTH or approx 30 BILLION a year!!!...Meanwhile, they gloat about having given a whopping 9 billion to education in the past 15 years....around 1.6 billion a year

They are "supposed" to give out 50% in prizes. I know between P3 and P4, it is maybe an avg payout of $500k between both draws. Mighty nice daily profit, wonder what actually goes out in scratch-off's?

It went on to say that in 2006 and again in 2016, NCEL signed a 10-YEAR contract (worth $27 million) with IGT to help "administer" and create games. IGT sound familiar? That is where Mafia Mark came from.....nothing like having an insider to buddy up with...maybe even more corruption?! You know as the Director, there is no way that he does not have a hand in dealing with them going forward. Scientific gaming is the other company that admin's lotteries as well, but NC had not used them. SC also uses IGT, but they don't have ex C-Level execs from IGT down there.

The more I hear how corrupt things are here, the more I want to just say screw it and go play in SC. Things really do seem to be (at least) more legit down there than here.

Also, the numbers they reported only add up to 93%, including 8% for operations. Where is the other 7% going?

Well, it answered one of my questions....how much does NCEL rake in a day...as the video pointed out, last year,10.4 million dollars a day!!

To put it simple...that's a lot of cash!!!

It may be more people playing this year trying to get that $500 for a $1.00!! It sounds too good not to try "one time".

It was my understanding that the "mathematics" will become even more complex....so it will be even harder for us to get a win!

We know who wins every day!!

And you are right..where is the other 7% going??????

On July 17th(2 days ago) this was posted to the NCEL website, go look at it.

"Here in North Carolina, the lottery raises about $2.5 million a day. Those dollars might pay for a four-year-old to go to an academic preschool, or build a new school, or even help pay for someone to go to college."

They don't have to watch forums. They have 15 mins before the day draw and 20 mins night to run numbers and see what the payout would be in order to pick and choose what will drop.
