The question you ask is much simpler than the explanation. ... How often does a number come out with another number. There are your starting weights.

Thanks for your post,Raven. Don't know if you have Gail Howard's program or not; but it attempts to do exactly what you have described here in the Lottery Advantage Scoreboard which yields Most Favorite.......Least Favorite .

Sometimes it's extremely difficult if not practically impossible to get people to disregard the smoke and mirrors. Instead, they seem to enjoy the ride down the proverbial Garden Path....... helpless to extricate themselves from being totally deceived by known forces in their midst who would argue that they have come here for the sole purpose of helping people. These forces would also argue that they have a winning MIRACLE system; that is, until asked to post numbers before the drawing !

Get the book see what he has to say, see how he defines weights and measures and how he uses them. That's the only answer and certainly beats throwing generic definitions back and forth that doesn't explain the "how to" part of the process.

But the question in my mind is the probability of any system (or of each system) increasing your odds. How much of an increase would it be?

And the only answer to that is success vs number of tests, which systems and programs don't have. (Yeah, then you get into the smaller details of "who is defining success")

Allowing all that, Robert Serotic's book (a cheaper copy if you will) seems to be the only real answer to weighting and measuring numbers in a definitive way with a means of making use of the process.

Robert Serotic was one the creators of "Lottery expert for windows" software.

In one of his books he wrote about conflicting filters and how using numbers with greater or lesser weight could create conflicts. If 6 of Sans top weighted numbers are even and he uses the 3 or 4 even numbers filter, only 3 or 4 of his top numbers will appear on the same line. Oh and don't forget decades, consecutive, sums conflicts, etc.

Serotic created many syndicates and won a few jackpots.

Seems the guy was well versed in what he did and considered by many as a world's leading authority on wheeling systems.

Sounds like a good read (and BobP is well versed in lottery), I'll get a used copies. The quality of used is often better than described.

hello garyo in addition to the weights of numbers and digits, we also have in pairs and trios numbers and digits following with their neighboring number, example number x is delayed in being drawn together in the pair or trio crossing weights, statistics and followers and delays will be promising

I'll read the book. But I'm still going to be a skeptic, practical, pragmatic, a critic, an A-hole (with a capital "A"), take your pick, whatever you want to call it, and I'm the same with my stuff.

I find something hitting 10% of the time; it's a guarantee 1 in 10 play. But centering on that means you're giving up 90% of the draws. And giving up is not what I do. Believing everything I read (or hear) is not me.

So this book will have to set off a lot of alarms and ring some loud bells before I start any programming.

Cliftnote: Conquering the world or chasing every solution to the lottery is for the 20 - 30 year olds; at my age, people just want to be happy.

I always think it would be fun and interesting to have dr san and ChatGPT discuss these ideas... Did you know that ChatGPT/OpenAI can write the code for you if you can explain in enough detail what you want the code to do...

I did try a detailed explanation. Chat gpt just keeps telling me something about trying to predict lottery numbers was illegal is some places and that it was not possible because it's a random game. Maybe I did not explain in enough detail.

OCD san, well,........even if he is a sock puppet, brings up some interesting topics. Other times it's all repetition.

Yeah, programs have written programs for years. I've written a few to do simple or repetitive tasks.
Codex is another. They all seem to have limitations....
