Oh cool! I have questions. You have covered 17 1/2 "days" (2x per day draws) from top to bottom of your window, right? Did you run the entire history of the lottery through your program? In an attempt to emulate what you posted, I ran my program with the window size set to 18 days (I can't do half days, only full days) and my program returned a maximum correlation with the data from March/April 1997. I'm wondering why your program didn't pick out the following frame from 1997. (EDIT: I think I figured out the answer to my question. See comment at the bottom of the chart.)

My program is "scoring" each frame on the fly, by which I mean that my program is attempting to calculate the winnings ($2230 in this case) and choose the highest prize money winning frame whereas your program is scoring each frame by the total number of hits and choosing the "winner" as the frame with the highest number of hits.. Am I correct?

That would definitely be the most logical explanation, and most likely correct! lol

I set it for straights only and for 36 draws like your example, this is the first that popped up without editing anything else, which is the same time frame you posted.

I had a concern it wasn't counting the straights with boxes if a straight is hit, but looking at the numbers below, 800 green on left and right, and 008 blue, so it is working correctly.
