        Some players reduce those odds by buying more than one ticket.  For example the guy in West Virginia that won the Powerball last Christmas bought 100 tickets and the guy in North Carolina that won Megamillions bought 60 tickets. Some people just don't like a level playing field, they will do anything to get an edge, even use software to pick their own numbers.

              Beitel Criterion machines were the old ones, the new ones are SmartPlay Halogen machines... your link is right to http://www.smartplay.com/kenograv.html

              but their FAQ @ the MUSL site is outdated, some questions on it still refer to the drawings before they went to the latest 5/53 + 1/42 format

                        It would appear that the ratio of people who prefer cash is at least 6:1.
