Here's a real odd-ball theory I've been looking at since I began reading Guru's thread, and I'd be interested in any feedback on it.  First of all, I'm referring to the pick-3 as it is the "easiest" random number game to beat.

Has anyone ever worked with the value of Pi as your source of random numbers?  You have an unlimited source of "random" digits that occur together and yet they are bound together by a mathematical/universal constant, the circle.

I know I sound crazy, but I really think there is a mathematical order to the universe, whether it be randomness or anything else.

Guru, I don't know if they have a pick 3/4 in Belgium, but I would think your theory would work a lot better with a lower odds game.  6/49 is a tought nut to crack.

Hypersoniq, would like to hear your opinion of Pi value as a source of random numbers.  Should I pursue or drop it?  What do you think?

Thanks.

Belgium lotto is 6/42, not 6/49. Well if 6/49 is a tough nut to crack then what to say about new york lotto, 6/59  :) . Actually Guru, your predictions were better for new york lotto then for belgium lotto yesterday because two numbers that lotto synchronizer predicted occured in yesterdays drawing. Guru i really hope your system will work so i can finally kill this damn jackpot and get myself that BMW 745i. :)

      hmm.. pi? why not?

the only way to see if it works is to check it out over past draw history.

Another place to look could be Euler's Constant

there are many different possibilities... worth a look...

Playing more than one ticket per game is betting against yourself.

        Hypersoniq,

I'm not familiar with Euler's constant, but it was interesting that you posted it in 10 digit format.  That's the same way I'm looking at the "pi value", in 10 digit blocks.  What numbers are coming up together on a routine basis.  It would be interesting to compare to see if there was any correlation to mathematical constants of any kind with pure "random " numbers.

I still believe there is order to chaos....at least that's what I tell everybody when they come to my home.......

            Hey Rick,

I couldn't believe it when you asked if anybody used Pi to help get their numbers. I use it on the four digit and had better success with it than anything else I've ever tried.

Making some very last minute changes here in the program. Found something that may improve things without adding to much processing time. I'm checking it fast like a madman right now. hope it'll be ready for tuesday.

                      Hi Guru

You said you found something that may improve things without adding too much processing time. How is it going so far? Did it improve something?

                      Dont give up!
