Thanks for the replies! Lot of different ideas, but I think the answer to the question is "No, there are no number generators that incorporate pretest numbers."
Personally, I generate my own numbers using my 'up close and personal' system known as 'alpha-numeric substitution." I decide what number to play in each position of the combination I'm building based on a variety of 'due', 'inventory', and 'history' charts, logs, etc.
It doesn't work well with Pick 3. Too many possibilities.
I use the Cash 5 and Texas Lotto pretests regularly. I compare all my selections with the pre-tests, as well as the winning numbers, and change any combination that has 3 or more hits.
I don't use pre-tests in my substitution system. I concentrate on 'drawing number 5', which pays.
According to my records for Cash 5, there have been only been 3 instances where a pre-test combination has repeated. No instances where a pre-test combo matched a winning combination. There have been 460 drawings.
In Texas lotto, only 73 drawings, there have been no hits of 3 or more.
Bottom line, I think it would be foolish to play without checking the pre-test combinations, and I don't!
